Nice cafe on the corner of a strip of shops, just across the road from Lathlain primary school and also Rayment park. There's lots of indoor seating and several tables outside as well. The menu is not massive and the usual fare can be ordered - eggs, toast, fruit toast etc. There's some twists on some menu items like the eggs Bene coming with smashed avo on the toast, and roasted tomato breakfast bruschetta. There were quite a few vegetarian options and also vegan options available. We had both the Waffles options. Fried chicken - 2 waffles that come with cooked apples and a generous scoop of cinnamon butter, and the duck waffles that came with pulled duck and a herb salad and sprouts, and a poached egg. The duck waffles only comes with one waffle. Both were quite delicious. Also had an English breakfast tea, chai tea (you have the option of getting either powdered chai or real tea leaves, which is great) and a mocha (was not to sweet, which was also great) overall it was a...

Kettle is very kid unfriendly now. Used to be better in the past. They took away all toys and gets all grumpy if your kids a little bit loud and being kids they do get all excited and loud. Despite I told the kids off and managed to get them to sit still after them run around. Ofcourse I wasn't bloody psychic knowing kids will run around until it happens. So I stopped them.

Nothing got broken and no one got hurt. Just the kids laughing quite loud. Even that got told off. They even put out a sign that implied they are not kid friendly eventhough they are located across the park and school. So this place is definitely not recommended if you have a kid/s. Staff are so unfriendly and look like they hate customers, especially ones with kids. I would be surprised if no one else with a Family experienced similar...

Wish it was possible to give 0 stars to this Cafe. I live local and it was my first time here. I Ordered chips for my kids and a bottle of water for myself. While the bottled water provided was ok, I couldn't say the same for the chips. I was given a box of a mix of burnt and what seemed like soggy chips, that was probably made days ago and then rewarmed to serve. Not sure if it was intentional as the Asian lady at the back counter kept staring at my kids and I in a most unwelcome and unfriendly way, as if to say get out of my Cafe. Terrible service, won't ever go there again. Asked to get a refund and I was told " what's wrong with...

Happened upon this lovely cafe after our booking at another cafe fell thru. It was very popular and busy given the restrictions still in place at the time after Covid19 lockdown. The staff handled this very well and complied with all the safety guidelines. They were also very friendly and helpful. We had the Eggs Benedict and the FillUp. Both of our breakfasts were delicious and very generous servings. The coffee was also very nice. There is parking along the shopping strip and also across the road at the park.
