Read moreI’ve been coming to Belmont Forum for years now and honestly, it just keeps getting better. Whether you’re doing a quick grocery run or spending the afternoon shopping, it’s got everything you need in one spot.
I went in the other day to grab a few things from Kmart and ended up staying way longer than planned. There’s such a good mix of stores – Coles, Woolies, Big W, Kmart, fresh food markets, chemists, tech stores, even some nice little gift shops. Everything is super easy to find, and it never feels too chaotic like some other big centres.
What I really like is how clean and modern the place is. You can tell they actually care about keeping it tidy and welcoming. Even the toilets are spotless, which says a lot. Parking’s never really a problem either – I’ve always managed to find a spot, even on weekends.
The food court is solid too. Plenty of variety – I’ve had sushi, noodles, coffee, burgers – all fresh and tasty. Plus, there’s lots of seating so you’re not fighting for a table. There’s a few quieter spots too if you just want to relax for a bit.
One thing that stood out was how easy it was to get in and out. The centre’s in a great location, not far from the airport or main roads, and it’s really convenient if you’re coming from anywhere around Vic Park, Rivervale, or Kewdale. Took me about 20 minutes from where I was in Bassendean with traffic, which isn’t bad at all.
Also worth mentioning – the vibe is nice. It’s a mix of families, older shoppers, tradies, and young people. You feel comfortable walking around, whether you’re dressed up or just in your work gear grabbing lunch. It feels like a proper local spot, not just another cookie-cutter shopping mall.
All up, Belmont Forum is a place I keep coming back to. Reliable, clean, convenient, and always improving. Highly recommend if you’re in the area or even just...
Read moreWell I'd like to share my experience
Just thought I’d share how my day went well it was about 12 in the afternoon and baby was already showered, prepped and looked like she was going on a night out lol. I then had an idea “let’s go out baby get some lunch at the mall” she was excited she wouldn’t even let me outside assuming that I was going to abandon her and leave her home. So we eventually made our way there and baby was still excited and she was saying hello to everyone everybody was smiling at her and giving her complements. But then something happened that made me think she smiled and waved at a little African Sudanese kid he had to be about 2 years old I didn’t think much of it so we continued walking for another 100 meters then I see a little hand touch her on the shoulder I stopped and looked the little kid stopped her and opened up his arms and so did she and they both cuddle in the middle of the mall I was kind of shocked and I looked at his mother she was the same we both smile and I said to her “you have the most beautiful child” she replies “you do too” and then we part ways. This event had me thinking only if we could think like kids things would be much more simple and race, color, religion, status in society or place of origin would be irrelevant.
Sorry about the novel but I was just amazed.
Its a diverse atmosphere, family friendly and if you want to enjoy great food and friendly locals this is the place to go I don't get paid to say this though I think I should lol. But yes I love this place it's not the Ritz but...
