We came for lunch Friday with our office team. I had the honey chicken and it was absolutely amazing, however the service was not. It’s unclear to me if it’s changed hands, but you have to go up to the counter to order now, and a robot comes and brings you your food. There’s no one coming to take your order or ask you if you want more drinks, the personal touch is totally gone. If you are a large table then someone will follow the robot and hand out the food but not if you are a table of 2 which is what I witnessed. The main issue I have was the lady who took my order, who got louder and louder with me from getting increasingly frustrated with me, which then caused other customers to turn their heads and look at us. She clearly thought I was stupid but in reality, she wasn’t understanding what I was saying. She kept cutting me off and speaking over me. Eventually she understood me and then laughed and said okay. I’m really not one to complain, ever, but her attitude and shouting towards me where I was simply asking questions about duck plum sauce that she couldn’t understand, was really what made my decision, and my work teams decision to not return. You don’t speak to people like that. Very disappointing as I’ve been coming to this restaurant for...
Read moreQuite disappointing Uber eats order unfortunately. I am pescatarian (mostly vego but eat seafood occasionally). I must say that in my opinion the vegetarian options were quite limited The prawn toast was okay, and better than the main, but the prawn mixture was weirdly quite runny. The main was mixed vegetable hokkien noodles. The amount and variety of vegetables was minimal (a about three pieces each of broccoli, bok choy and mushroom, with grated carrot); the ratio of vegetables to noodle was way off. There was minimal sauce and the noodles had just clumped together into a big brick. The sauce that was present was frankly quite boring...no exciting or noteworthy flavours, and mimicked something I could have whipped up in 5 minutes at home, certainly not worth the money. I just wanted some nice Chinese food before I move interstate to a rural area, and thought I'd try somewhere new, but have been left feeling very underwhelmed. I won't be ordering...
Read moreTook a chance on local Chinese and was presently surprised, 1730 pm on a Sunday afternoon with a craving that wouldn't go away for a great big Chinese pig out. So fed up with having to go all the way into Nth bridge every time you want to Chinese it up. Very very impressed with the quality of all the meats, they were tender and so many crunchy veggies. No added MSG. Great friendly service and there was not one thing that I was not happy with.
