The entrees were amazing but we should have stopped there ( I would give it 5 stars). We waited 45 minutes for the pastas Despite my expectations the tonnarelli weren’t tonnarelli but spaghettini (I hate spaghettini!!!) I told it to the waitress the quickly informed me that the tonnarelli were finish and the chef prepared amazing spaghetti abruzzesi (I am Italian and weren’t even spaghetti abruzzesi ndr, and, he should told me before to order the change of pasta) Tortellini with saffron with poached egg were cold and a little bit uncooked (I love al dente pasta but it was too much aldente),cold and I could not taste the saffron and the shiitake were simple forest mushrooms. It’s pitty because aswell the pannacotta was quite good dandy innovative ( with evo and bread crumbs cover with Italian merengue). I would give them another chance because they have potential.

We went for a mid-week work birthday dinner and what a surprisingly great little place we found! Everyone commented on how good the food was (and there were a few foodies amongst us)…sharing plates of burrata, skewers, crumbed chicken, spicy tuna tartare, pasta topped with mascarpone and tempura asparagus which was possibly the hero of the night. The cocktails were excellent and chocolate dessert topped off a delicious evening. The only not-so-positive comments we had were the music that went off on a noisy tangent, and the waitress who could have cleared the table and offered more drinks without us having to ask. Admittedly though she did appear to be the only one serving and this was not enough to knock 1 whole star off…maybe half ☺️ All in all very good and forward to going back 🙌

The vibe of the place was really nice - the kind of place you take photos of for instagram stories, especially the inside area, The service was okay, we got the vibe that the servers were extremely busy though. We saw a lot of people getting turned away because there was no seating, so it’s definitely a popular place to go! The drinks were really good, but the bread and butter appetiser we ordered was extremely plain. It would be nice if the bread was herbed, lightly toasted with some kind of garlic butter, I think that would really enhance the experience ☺️ However, the mango sorbet was insanely good, it tasted homemade in the best way. It would be nice if there were some extra gelato and sorbet options too 😋

Not great for a Saturday night dinner date. We got there before 6.30 and were told it would be a wait for dinner, but we could get drinks at the bar in the mean time. It was about fifteen minutes until we got a seat at the end of the long table, shared with other patrons. Another ten minutes before we realised the waitress wasn't coming back with menus and share plates. Finally ordered at the bar and another round of drinks. The bread and butter was delivered to the wrong side of the table- the group sat there, having already finished their meals, just staring at it before continuing conversation. When the waiter/bartender delivered the small plates, we asked about the bread and eventually found out it was a mix up by the server. Aside from this, it wasn't a huge wait for the food once the order was (finally) placed. In fairness, drinks were prepared quickly too and both gin, tonic and orange drinks were lovely with the different gins bringing unique qualities to each drink. Only made better by being able to try both and compare the flavour profiles. I greatly enjoyed the food, as we had also ordered the sardines, beef carpaccio and pork pasta. Unfortunately, my partner didn't like the food, and with how dark, loud & almost chaotic the restaurant was, how long everything took, he didn't enjoy the evening. I think they were understaffed tonight, with only one poor girl bussing all the tables and greeting customers. The tall guy behind the counter looked after us and made sure our bar tab was moved to the table, despite not being told we were being moved for food. I imagine another time of day would have suited my partner and I better, than the hustle and bustle of Saturday night...

I visited MUMMUCC on a Saturday night. It was still full, close to 9pm and we managed to grab the only available table inside. Our order was taken quickly, but then... it took ages for the plates to arrive (almost 1h). I don't know if all the other tables had ordered just before us (hard to believe as it wasn't peak hour anymore), but I could see that everybody was receiving the plates one by one. And when I say one by one, I don't mean one table by one table. I really mean one plate at a time. So, group tables were receiving the plates with a big difference of time, including us. My husband received his, which was tortelloni, and mine took maybe more 10min to arrive (casarecce). And on top of that, his dish was lukewarm and had maybe 8 small tortelloni. It had more empty space than food. For almost 30 aud, they could be a bit more generous. And I don't get why it was lukewarm, as the plates were being sent to tables once they were ready. By the time my plate arrived, his obviously wasn't even lukewarm anymore, was already cold. Mine had a decent portion size though. Anyway, the plates were good. They were delicious. It is just a shame that they aren't very organised at the kitchen. It was our first time there, so I'm not sure if they are always chaotic like that, but it looked like they knew that it wasn't...
