Pastacup — Restaurant in Western Australia

UPDATE: PastaCup Tuart Hill has in CLOSED...apparently they did not pay their rent. This review is primarily for the service (or lack there-of). Pasta Cup Tuart Hill got our order wrong but didn't realise until got home. The Roasted Veggie Delight Risotto we ordered was very spicy and could not be eaten. This has never been problem in the past. Also, the extra meatballs ordered were missing as well. I immediately replied via the online feedback form for my order stating what had happened. Apparently it'd take 1-2 days to reply. 4 days go by, nothing. So I called the store directly and explained the problem. Manager wasn't there so the staff member took my information, including the order number, and was told the manager would get back to me. It has now been over a week and haven't heard anything. Extremely disappointed as we had a meal that could not be eaten. PastaCup Tuart Hill were given two chances to respond privately, which I think was more than fair, but since we received no response, I felt I had to make our issue public. Good food but don't order over the phone. I've been here three times and the last 2 times they've screwed up my order even after I've clarified it for them over the phone. The first time they forgot my garlic bread and luckily I realised when I got back to car and went back in to get it. The second time I ordered a parmigiana and a pasta and wanted a large pasta as the side, was told by the young girl at the counter "it can't be done" and (I've done this multiple times at other stores with no issue as a small is $12.95 and a large is $16.95 so they just add $4 to the order.. Not that hard to figure out) ended up paying for the parmigiana and large pasta separately.. What is usually $22.95 ended up being $30.90, not a huge amount but I'm sure if the $8 was coming out of her/their pocket they'd be a bit more caring. Pastacup is great but this store has pissed me off to the point of no return. Definitely...

Really great pasta, I go there quite a lot! The only thing is that it sometimes says that they don't do online orders via Menulog and other times it does? Even when they're still open and other pastacup locations are accepting orders.

Despite that though, when you get the food it is lovely, filling and homey. You usually get a little cup of parmesan cheese with your pasta, and it's served nice and hot!

Last time I ordered it though, I got the wrong pasta from what I ordered. But it wasn't drastically different, like if I ordered spaghetti and got gnocchi. I ordered spinach fettucini which turns it green, and instead got just regular fettuccini. Still yummy, I just really like spinach.

Great food, great, kind staff and awesome working under pressure. I went in there with my partner on a very busy day for them and they were still so efficient...
