Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Western Australia

Terrible experience. The menu is confusing and poorly designed — many of the pizzas look nearly identical, which led me to accidentally order the wrong one. I have strict halal dietary requirements, and when I opened the box and saw there was meat on the pizza, I immediately went back to the store.

Despite the pizza being completely untouched, I was told I couldn’t exchange it and had to buy an entirely new one. No understanding, no flexibility — just a flat-out refusal. My friend even pointed out that if I’d reached the car before noticing, I would immediate turned back and the staff told us that even then, they still wouldn’t have done anything about it.

Instead of trying to help or show any basic level of customer service, they just stood there staring like we were wasting their time. Incredibly unprofessional, unhelpful, and frankly disrespectful. I went into this Pizza Hut and stood at the counter and watched a man stare and laugh at his phone (with earphones in) for 5 odd minutes before he asked me if I wanted to order. There was no apology for his ignorance and then that man continued to glance dirty looks at me whilst talking in another language with his co workers. On a separate occasion I walked into the Pizza Hut and nobody was in there, I waited for 2 minutes before a man came in and told me to wait another 10 minutes before I could place an order, I watched him sit on his phone for a couple minutes before I walked out. This is the third consecutive time we've ordered a cheese pizza for our son, and once again, the cheese isn't properly distributed, with 40% of the crust lacking cheese. To make matters worse, the hygiene standards were appalling. When I went to pick up the pizza, I saw a staff member on her phone, and her phone was placed inside the pizza box. I had to wait at least 10 seconds and call out to get her attention since she was so engrossed in her phone that she didn't notice me.
