La Vida Vegan — Local services in Subiaco

Unfortunately, I wont purchase from them again. For a store that promotes online shopping, and vegan food being as expensive as it is, I would think there would be more consideration in how items are transported interstate.

I spent $180 on 8 easter eggs and paid extra for special packaging. Every one of the easter eggs is melted. I guess my vegan grandchildren will be missing out on easter eggs from us this year! We are on a pension, cant get out much, can’t find vegan eggs locally. I put away money from my pension each fortnight for my grandkids gifts at the special times if year. I have 11 grandchildren, and 5 of them are vegan and I spend so much more for “vegan”. Supposedly vegan is about the environment? Such a shame your company doesn't consider what impacts the environment - the weather. Such a shame 😢

Edit: I was contacted to pay an additional amount. This was a verbal conversation with a woman there. They DID NOT mention anything about a refrigerated bag? I would have happily paid extra for that. When I contacted you via email, Why wasn’t it mentioned to me then. I have received items before that are refrigerated and they come with a cool pack. Maybe your company could implement that.

PS I do not believe I have been “unfair” as you said in your email. You on the other hand is a different story. You did not even offer any sort of...

If you want vegan options go down the road to The Good Grocer Leederville (IGA). They have a bigger selection of vegan options at about half of the price.

La Vida Vegan is very over priced and doesn't offer any specialty items you can't find anywhere else. Staff are not knowledgeable on the items they sell, and were unable to give recommendations for products.

For the small variety they do have, it's always sold out or low in stock. To avoid disappointment go elsewhere. They also never have any pies or cakes even though they have the facilities for it. Staff are always rude and the atmosphere is very uncomfortable.

I have no idea how these guys are still in business considering there's a supermarket down the road that offers MORE vegan options than they do, which is open 24/7 and much cheaper in comparison.

*I don't understand how they sell plastic alternatives (metal straws, produce bags etc) yet everything else in the store is plastic? This would be okay if they didn't state how environmentally friendly they are..

Tldr: Dont bother, better and cheaper...

I have to drive over a hour to go to this shop and then I have to buy a big quantity and then when you're about to pay they are telling you that they charge you for using you payment card Personally I had to use only the cash I had on me. So couldn't buy all I needed and the shop lost money buy wanting to charge me for paying. I don't think for a shop like this to charged people for paying is a bit much. Charging people for using they card is really greedy. And having people tying to make more money by doing nothing. Thanks you but no thanks you. So by wanting make more money you loose some and I will go somewhere...
