My work as a model takes me everywhere and I got to try Vietnamese/Malaysian food around the world.

Fugu 8 has recently a new owner and changed its name to Mama 10. I'm SO HAPPY that all of Fugu 8’s most popular dishes are still on the menu.

The food at Mama 10 is simple yet really delicious. Fresh and pure ingredients, and the sauces are the stars of every dish at Mama 10.

We ordered: ENTREE Green mango salad - Mama 10’s signature dish! The fresh sweet sour lime 🍋‍🟩 dressing sauce and fresh herbs OMG 😋 Grilled pork lemongrass sausage noodle salad - Another Mama 10’s signature dish! The spring rolls are home made using family multigenerational cooking recipe. Just could not be better than these!!! MAIN Mama 10 Caramelised Pork - 10/10 Tender Beef Rendang Curry - one of Fugu 8‘s best selling dishes which is still on the menu. Char Kway Teow - Must-try dish at Mama 10!!! Even tastes better than Fugu 8‘s! DESSERT Mama 10 Coconut 🥥 Jelly (which is home made from fresh coconut water + coconut cream) - SO REFRESHING and authentic, just like in Vietnam!

Mama 10 was full house when we were there. It was totally worth the wait!

Feeling so lucky to have Mama 10 in our neighbourhood! Can't wait to try their WEEKEND SPECIAL...

I recently had a dish chilli lemon grass chicken and deep fried Barramundi fillet and Mam 10s pho that truly exceeded my expectations. The flavors were bold yet perfectly balanced—a delightful blend of savory, sweet, and a hint of spice that elevated every bite. The premises were well presented with wall decorations, including Asian conical hats (decorated with colour) and posters of Vietnamese(?) food. Water & hot tea is self serve, with glasses and a water dispenser/tea kettle 🚰🫖 Cutlery & serviettes are also self serve, and are not set on the tables; they are not provided with the dishes served🍴 A menu is placed on each table. I ordered the Chicken Curry Rice ($19.90) 🍛 It arrived in a timely manner 🕡 Rice was cooked well, not too wet nor dry 🍚 The sauce was very fragrant and not too spicy. The chicken was very soft, and it helped a lot being boneless 🐔 Portion was very filling 🍽 I also tried a bit of my friend's Avocado Smoothie (deliciously sweet and creamy 🥑🥛) and Vietnamese Pancake (crispy). The staff were friendly and checked in with us at the end of our meal 😊 Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced meal (in this economy). Note: I didn't get to take photos of Mama 10's menu (which is mostly orange, A3 sized & double sided) & premises 📷 Visit Date: Wednesday 9 July, 6:00PM

Mama 10 has a humble, welcoming setting that feels like dining at a friend's place – a friend who happens to be an extraordinary chef 🤩 From authentic Vietnamese spring rolls, MSG-free Vietnamese beef noodle soup with Mama 10 signature broth to the crowd favourite char kway teow and tender beef rendang curry, Mama 10 delivered well beyond my expectations! They are just like home-made meals! 😋 Mama 10 is usually packed.Their services are extremely friendly. Typical wait time in most GOOD restaurants is about 20-30 minutes as they have to prep it fresh!
