Horrendous customer service. Taking money through their app for deliveries when they don’t even have a delivery driver available. Apparently their delivery driver finishes at 8pm on weekdays, which in itself is pathetic for a pizza joint. Had to chase up my refund over several days, and was informed I’d have to wait 2-10 business days for it to be in my account. No apology offered at all, nothing. Will never order from here again.
Edit: I was not abusive at all, as insinuated below, although understandably disappointed, that’s just a flat out lie. What did upset me though was your complete indifference and apathy in response to my request for proof of transaction that you had processed my refund, of which I still haven’t received, and at the time of writing there’s still no indication of a refund in my account. If you can’t deliver a product then your app shouldn’t be accepting orders and taking people’s money, but it’s refreshing to see in your comment below that you obviously couldn’t give a rats about my $30, but that’s the exact attitude that brought me to give you this review. Read moreSan Remo at Whitfords used to be owned and run by John who had this shop and a different shop previously. In total he was making pizzas for over 50 years. The bases he made were traditional Italian style and they were faultless, but ever since he sold it, the place has gone steadily downhill. I went there last night to get a pizza and the place was looking really dead. It never used to be like that on any day of the week. I had a gut feeling that the pizza wasn't going to be much good either but I thought I'd give it a go anyway. It was very stingy with toppings and loaded with oily cheese. I ate half of it because I didn't have many other options at 8:30 in the evening. I was initially planning to have the other half for lunch the next day but it was that bad I wasn't prepared to eat it a second time and threw it in the bin. I can't believe this place has a 4.5 star rating on Google, when I can make 100% better pizza at home with store bought bases. I would say there's either some fake reviews in here, or sadly some people just don't know what good quality pizza...
