A charming little coffee window that’s big on community! ☕️
Stopped by The Dairy Window in Doubleview and loved the laid-back, community feel. It’s a takeaway-only spot that’s part of The Corner Dairy (a restaurant by night) — super easy to spot, with plenty of street parking nearby. 🚗📍
The space is simple and sunny, with outdoor-only seating that makes the most of Perth’s good weather. ☀️ There’s an elevated porch, shady garden, and lots of room for prams, kids, and even dogs — ideal for a casual catch-up or solo coffee break. 🐶👶
Coffee is made using a local blend by Twin Peaks Coffee Roasters, and the cappuccino I ordered was warm, smooth and creamy. ☕️ Loved the surprise oats cookie on the lid — such a fun extra! 🍪 The cups are also nicely branded with their logo and handwritten names, which adds a thoughtful touch.
If you’re after a relaxed spot for your morning coffee or a post-walk treat, definitely check this one out. 🙌

Read moreI had a gift voucher to use here and was putting it off because I thought it was too far from where I live but it was well worth the trip. I came on a Saturday 12pm and got a parking spot easily. The staff were exceptionally good and make you feel welcome and valued. We shared the beef tartare toast, BBQ cauliflower, 300g sirloin, chips and 2 deserts. I can't fault any of them. I would compare the food style to Old Youngs Kitchen. From reading other reviews on here, I'm glad they don't serve burgers and pizza's. You can get that anywhere. Give this place a go instead. I'd say the only minor negative, although each of us were given knives and forks, they were lacking on serving spoons. We only received one extra knife for cutting the beef tartare toast. Being family we weren't too worried about using our used forks for dishing out the food. Can't wait to...
Read moreWagin Duck Liver Parfait is my favorite dish here. You need to order food and drinks at the bar. This is the second time I've visited for both lunch and dinner. The menu is the same for both meals, but they occasionally update the dishes. For example, they served a different pasta than on my first visit. Their Albany Rock Oysters are really fresh, though at $5 each, they are a bit pricier than at other places I've been. I tried the Exmouth Prawn Hand-Cut Pasta, which had a delightful flavor reminiscent of Tom Yum. The Kingfish Ceviche had a tangy dressing with layers of flavor. They also offer a good variety of drinks. We spent $137 for two people. Given the price range, the service could be improved. It would be nice if the staff introduced the dishes when serving and thanked customers when they pay and leave. There are some street parking...
