Read moreThis place isn't equipped to deal with large birthday gatherings. Service was extremely chaotic and unorganised and the server seemed easily distracted and ran off her feet. We had to call her back to certain tables a few times so she could finish taking everyone's order for that particular table.
Some kids waited close to an hour to receive their food while others received theirs straight away. I was also assured on the phone at the time of booking that the restaurant will put as many tables together as possible to make it feel like, you know, an actual group gathering, instead we arrive and there's 6 small tables all spread out far from eachother. Meanwhile a semi large group near us had their tables combined no problem, but when I requested the same it apparently was too hard for our group and for the kitchen staff to keep up? I didn't expect one giant table for our group, but it would have been nice to narrow it down to at least 3-4 tables instead of 6.
Would have also been nice to tell me at the time of booking that the restaurant does not offer split billing. That was an absolute nightmare trying to sort out at the end of the night.
By the time we sorted everything it was too late to do the birthday cake and everyone had already had enough...
