The Lounge Room On James — Restaurant in Western Australia

I went there for a big breakfast this morning. I basically asked for a big breakfast my eggs to be fried and an orange juice. I waited over 10 minutes for the orange juice and then over 10 minutes for the breakfast. They brought the breakfast out to me and they Didn't even do the eggs as I told them I wanted fried. I ended up getting scrambled eggs. I called the waitress and I told her the situation there was no apology or nothing very disappointing. Then halfway through the meal they decide to bring me back another orange juice that I did not order. The service was pretty crap today they weren't even that busy no apology no nothing very disappointing. I would not recommend the restaurant or cafe. I normally go to the milk bar that's next door but that was closed. At least I get a better service and a smile and a conversation. The service I got there today was very bland. They do not care about their customers. Very disappointing. Will be telling people not to go to this...

Edit. Went for a meal Jan 16 and there were a few groups of people which means more people are trying the cafe. Unfortunately after waiting over 45 minutes and no meals turning up we got up and left. Explanation was there was only one chef working. If you go there and there are other people in the cafe make sure you ask how long to get your meal. The meal came out as we were walking out some 50+ minutes later. They offered to do take away but disappointment would cause indigestion so we declined. A shame and better to advise customers up front if meals are going to be more than 30 minutes coming out as other options can be considered.

Edit I have ordered from here a few more times since and every time has been amazing, thank you. It seems my first time was a once off and glad I gave them another try.

For the purpose of complete transparency, I will say my first experience here was not fantastic.

However the restaurant provided me a credit for the poor service received first time and my second time was much more pleasant.

I appreciate they went out of their way to rectify an issue and genuinely care about their business/customers. If only some of the other reviews would be so kind to take up their offer.
