Over 10 days ago, I found a shard of glass in my noodles. It was about 5cm long and very sharp. After contacting the restaurant, I was told that they had searched the kitchen and couldn't find the source of the glass, so there was nothing they could do. I spoke to the Head of National Operations, Katie Payne, and her dismissal of me was laughable. After explaining what could have happened if I had swallowed the glass and that it was not my problem that they couldn't locate any glass; she dismissed me. I was offered a refund on my food, but I was told it wasn't their fault I found glass in my meal. I am still yet to receive my refund, and I am left outraged that they took no responsibility for their mistake, instead insinuating that this was my problem. I'm in disbelief that after involving both the state business manager and the franchise partner, nothing could be done about the incident. I can guarantee that I will not be returning to Wokinabox for any more crunchy surprises in my meal. I ordered a large teriyaki chicken with eggs and the whole thing tasted like ginger I call to ask them why it tasted like that because ginger wasn’t in the list of ingredients there, a female pick up the phone and she was so confident with herself, she wouldn’t believe a word I said, I told her I could taste and sell the ginger because it was that strong and that my sister was ALLERGIC TO GINGER and couldn’t eat it but that didn’t seem to bother her at all I also told her I could bring the food in for her to see but she refused. The last time we ordered we both got combination noodles and i paid for extra veggies and specifically said no carrot. The carrot in the cabinet looked brown and gross. When we got our orders home my partner had the combination noodles but I have no idea what they gave me, it was completely different even though we ordered the same thing and it tasted horrible and there were no other veggies other than just off carrots.
