WHITEMOCHA Cafe — Restaurant in Wodonga

Visited the cafe, the smell inside can only be described as curry. Why would you have a coffee shop smell of curry? We ordered a takeaway full cream decaf latte. Oh my goodness .. we've never seen such a slow, clueless barista. We waited and waited .. my husband ended up standing near the takeaway window hatch hoping to open the barista's eyes to the fact that we've been waiting 10 minutes. Watching him was painful. He was in no way busy! My husband was told by him to go away from the window and to sit down! We couldn't believe his attitude. Eventually 🙄💤 we received the coffee. We've never ever had such a bitter decaf coffee. It was undrinkable. We returned the coffee to the window for a full refund and received $6. We told him the refund was $1 short. He turned, proceeded to open the lid on the coffee and picked up a $1 and promptly slapped it down on my hand. No sorry .. no apology .. didn't if he could remake it .. nothing passed his lips. Whitemocha is my new go to Cafe. Can happily say BEST HOT CHOCOLATE ON THE BORDER. The hot chocolate is made with real chocolate, rather than powder, and it makes all the difference.

The family that run this Cafe are delightful & always provide wonderful service.

Most amazing bacon and Eggs Benny ever! Served with asparagus and a lovely shaved radish garnish. We had no expectations…well!!!! The best Brekky I’ve ever ordered in any cafe in the world! Eggs were free range. The man cooking, is an actual chef owner of the cafe. He popped out yo see if we enjoyed our meals! Such a lovely human being! I only wish I’d taken a pic of the meal!
