The best of the best amongst the best spot to have your morning breakfast. We always come here after a scooter ride and have our breakfast. Eventhough we have a whole other choices to go to, I always say I want to have breakfast at the Lagoon. Well can you contest my choice? Just look at the pictures and this is literally what you get while enjoying your brekky. Food is warm, tasty and natural flavors preserved by its simple presentation, which is exactly what you want for a Sunday morning boost. And the serene ambiance, the breathtaking view, the chill music they play... I could go on and on! Heaven! I would like to emphasize this time I was served by Sheree and goodness, is she a gem! I was able to take a picture of the facade with her in it, I think. She matches the beauty of the location by her cheerful demeanour, engaging smile, polite and friendly service. I was doing my little jive, dancing to the music and manifesting all these positive happy aura and she acknowledged my happy mood where others would just either ignore me or simply smile. I like bringing happiness to people and I also like receiving them. Sheree is the perfect person to put in her spot especially on a Sunday morning. I also asked what tea do they have and she gave me all these choices, when I said I am in the mood for a flowery flavor so Camomile is their only choice but Sheree went out of her way and offered to check their stock coz she said they might have more choices. I like how she extends her effort and give time to accommodate her customers. Keep her! You will get more customers. I hope she gets a raise too! All in all, this is my go to for a morning date with my husband. Love, serenity, nature, simple natural food, good service and breathtaking view. Don't ask for takeout, dine in and bask in the beauty of the beach, fresh air, trees, birds, waves...

Ordered quarter deck seafood. After 45 minutes I asked if my order is still coming and the lady serving said yes. One hour later after I asked again did they realise they gave my order to someone else. They claimed they called my name but I was sitting right in front of the order counter. How do you call your deaf customers?Rather invest in a restaurant paging system which has sound and a blinking light. Received second order 15 minutes later and the manager did offer a free drink which I declined as I was pushed for time. Food was tasteless and no utensils or serviette offered so I had to use my fingers to eat my salad that had enough oil on it to top up my car. The lady sitting next to me complained about her burger tasting like a patty and not a steak burger. Bad service, bad food, dirty, bad location considering the wind and seagulls. A Big No Go.

Generously portion breakfast, brunch and lunch options on the decking area of the lagoon. The muesli bowl was good but the acai yogurt tasted just like any other regular berry yogurt. The wipe out was massive. Loaded with chorizo, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and bacon, could be shared between to small eaters. The Cuban B&E rolls were only ok, nothing really outstanding about them. Coffees were good. Service was fast but you have to order at the counter, being the lagoon you'd expect table service.

Unbelievably unhygienic. I actually can't believe that the food inspectors haven't closed this place down. They leave their bakery treats (muffins, tarts, slices etc.) on the front counter near the cash register where they are taking orders. They are not covered up, they're just open to the air and people that are ordering coffees and teas are talking over top of them all day long. This isn't ok at any time - especially during COVID. I even phoned them to tell them it's an extremely unhygienic practice to not only have their pastries uncovered, but uncovered in an area that people are "spitting" while they order ..... They assured me they'd cover them up, but when I walked past the next week and many weeks following, they were still uncovered. I've also watched the staff prepare coffees and make food orders, and can safely say that their hygiene practices are non-existent. This is a huge concern. Unfortunately due to this, I'd never go there which is a shame because this place has huge potential, but what a let down it is. On top of this, the staff are unprofessional and inattentive. They're like school children in a playground gossiping and carrying on. Seriously lacking professionalism. If they were my staff, well they wouldn't be my staff for long, put...

Ordered the breakfast platter for 2. Disappointed with the experience. Top tier with fruit and yoghurt was good. Middle tier 4 pieces sourdough toast and waffles was completely ordinary. All stone cold. No butter supplied! The website lists homemade preserves... what we actually received were 2 small Kraft brand jams in individual plastic peel the foil of the top packs. The lower tier, all of the items were cold including the scrambled eggs, also contained egg shell. I believe it may be all pre-cooked. The presentation made us laugh a bit, once it was on the table we couldn't see each other. No salt and pepper to be seen on any tables and it needed it. Needed to find knives in a cutlery caddy from another table because ours had none, worst of all the plate brought out to me was dirty, quite noticeably. I pointed this out to the staff, they did apologise and immediately brought another plate. The glass the juice was served in also had chips around the rim. Improvements in some basics could see this be a great breakfast. I love the concept and happy with the price, the execution was poor. They weren't busy. The view is very nice and...
