Went to get dinner tonight and my order was not complicated nor was the Woonona site busy. When I got home I noticed my order was incomplete. I tried to call Woonona Macdonaldâs which took several attempts to connect through as no one picked up the phone. When I finally got through I provided feedback on the numerous occasions in which I have attended this site for meals and noted the numerous times my order has been incorrect or missing food items I have ordered and paid for. Many times I have let this go but tonight I felt like they had taken financial advantage of me enough. The young man I spoke to was very dismissive when I identified this as a learning need. I did not identify any person specifically at fault for the missing food but was addressed with dismissive and attacking comments. He claimed I was being insulting to staff and he did not want to listen and speak to me. In the first instance he claimed he would redeem the food I had paid for but called me a number of names and claimed I was being insulting to staff when I tried to defend myself and denied his claims that I was not being insulting to staff but nearly trying to provide feedback and suggest that this may be a learning need in store. He then told me I was condescending and refused to redeem the food I had paid for. I asked to speak to a manager and for the managers name in which this young man refused. I then asked for his name and again he refused. Obviously this call did not end well with this young man being very rude. Wasted 30 minutes lost $66.15 (because Manager Jayden refuse to give us a refund). Ruined the last day of our trip
Hereâs what you can expect at this location:
â App order was marked as âcollectedâ before we received anything. (Likely a staff mistake, but no one took responsibility.) â We asked staff 3 times â first: âweâll checkâ, then: âcoming soonâ, then: âwaiting for fries.â â Burgers and sausage muffins were already sitting on the tray, but fries and hash browns were given to later drive-thru customers. â When we asked again, fries and hash browns magically appeared on our tray within 2 seconds â after waiting over 20 minutes. Manager arrived and blatantly lied, claiming they were waiting on sausage (which had been sitting there for 10+ minutes). â At this point, we were justifiably upset. â Instead of apologizing, he mockingly said âFine, Iâll refund you thenâ and yanked the tray away. â This provoked us â my husband knocked over the drinks (yes, that was our mistake). â White young man manager then refused the refund and told us to leave.
This isnât just bad service â itâs poor management.
â Drive-thru customers are always prioritized here, even if you ordered earlier. â No accountability, no apology â just lies and deflection. â The manager was more interested in being ârightâ than resolving the issue.

   Read moreWe come to Wonoona Mcdonalds because it's the closest by far, and time and time again we are disappointed. Today will be our last time going there. They advertise the brand new Tim Tam McFlurry all over the menu board, we ask for one and they don't do them. Alright, two soft serves instead, as well as a banana bread and medium cappuccino with sugar. We go around to pay, the server is chatting with someone. Ask for a sugar in the coffee again. We usually ask for a receipt, but have given up because they never give us one. Pretty sure that's illegal. We drive around to the food window, get given a lukewarm banana bread, one soft serve, and have to park elsewhere to wait for the coffee. We drive away, not bothering to ask about a second soft serve. Open the banana bread bag, no butter or knife. Great. Take a sip of the coffee, no sugar. Awesome.
Similar things have happened in the past, they often have a "broken" soft serve machine and unfriendly workers. Once we ordered and paid for two soft serves and a banana bread, drive around to the manager telling us they have neither. We have witnessed many other customers complaining about something wrong with their food.
