Food is amazing. But be prepared to be confused about how much things actually cost. Staff are super nice to regulars but don't really give time of day to anyone else unless you immediately know what you're ordering. I am confident that the owners will update their menus, blackboard, and retrain stuff for a better experience with everyone else. I won't be returning though. Burger and chips (pictured) Cost me $18

Amalfi cafe is tucked away on Auburn Street , with a back entrance near the Wollongong railway station. The lady that served us at this cafe was friendly & full of energy , very welcoming. Coffee was great & the toasted Turkish roll with chicken avo mayo was tasty. A quirky lil cafe with a chill vibe in a handy location away from the main hustle & bustle of crown street. Very reasonably priced!! Great value !

Good coffee, but the food options were limited. Unfortunately I couldn't make myself understood to the very charming waitress. The furniture is unique and funky and I love the decorations. I hope they find a way to keep the plastic pants dust free long term. This place has huge potential as a wine bar or club. The entrance from the station side is a bit hard to find.

Ordered toasted turkish bread which the menu advertised as $3.50, and was not posted differently anywhere, but I saw my account was charged $10. I asked her why and she said that it was an old menu. She refused to refund any of it and wasn’t even happy to give me a small coffee or something. Couldn’t believe how careless and rude she was. False advertisement, no reimbursement, no genuine care. Turkish bread wasn’t even good for $3.50...
