Top Choice Restaurant — Restaurant in Wollongong City Council

“This is my second time at Top Choice, and once again, it did not disappoint. The lady who greeted us had a beautiful smile and immediately seated us with the menus. Within just two minutes, she checked in to take our drink orders—now that’s what I call world-class service!

As for the food, everything was incredible. The Beef Pho was to die for—flavorful and filling, just how Pho should be. I’d rate it a 9/10. The Chicken Laksa with wontons was another standout—absolutely delicious and definitely one of my new favorites. This one gets a perfect 10/10. The Karaage Chicken was also tasty, with a nice crunch and great flavor, so I’d give it an 8/10. The Chinese Sizzling Szechuan Beef with vegetables was juicy and succulent—another 10/10 dish.

Lastly, the Chicken in Garlic and Butter Sauce was exceptional—super juicy and melts in your mouth. I’d rate this a 9/10.

I have been using Top choice for around 10 years now however. since the new owners took over the experience on numerous occasions has been nothing short of horrific. there are no means by which they can be contacted. The phone number displayed online has not worked for months and the mobile number also provided online is disconnected. when you actually drive there and order take away you seldom get what you ordered! Have they changed their name to Macdonalds?? The all junior staff appear to be completely disinterested and look like they would much rather be somewhere else. Worst service I have come across in over 20 years in Wollongong.. ordered online , went to pick at the allotted time given only to be told that they ran out of paper and didn’t see the order , asked for a refund only to be told they couldn’t do that and had to wait another 20 to 30 minutes , went back in only to be told again that I didn’t say I wanted the order.. what did they think we were just going to walk away without food or our money… had to then wait another 30 minutes .
