ALDIS IS THE BEST, THE CHEAPEST AND THE BEST QUALITY GROCERY STORE THERE ISā¼ļøšš iām on a disability pension and used to live fortnight to fortnight with nothing left. Now I can afford to save $100 a fortnight in the bank š²š³ š¤šµš° You always get the same tasting foods (if not better quality) for a few dollars cheaper for each item & I save about 25% - 40% off each similar product price compared to other major supermarkets. Iām a single person on a disability pension spending about $100 - $120 a week now on my groceries, instead of $170 - $190 by switching to Aldisā¼ļøš They have identical foods to the more expensive supermarkets - of course they are different brands and in different packaging but they taste exactly the same or even better but they are always cheaper - especially cheese for example, instead of paying $9 I would pay $6. Cotties cordial for example instead of paying over $6 Aldi is $2.25 and the cordial actually tastes better and last longer, you donāt need to use as much. Their cleaning products are of a very good quality and their prices are amazingly cheaper than major supermarket brands. They also have everyday known brand products but they are cheaper prices than the regular supermarkets. Coles Tim Tams are $6! Aldi, $4.49 and they are the original. Every item you save on! They also have a beautiful range of different food products that the major supermarkets donāt have and the quality of their food is always 100%. I get around 25-50% of my groceries from Aldiās every week and I save at least $50 - 75 a week and that is a lot for a pensioner. They donāt need to have specials because their products are already marked down permanently. They always have āsurpriseā āon specialā products at great prices too! Everything from toys to shoes and clothes to linen, make up, camping items to a range of electrical items like dryers to TVs just to be out everything but be quick with these special priced items because they come and go so quickly because they are priced so cheaply and you never know what youāre going to find the next week you go shoppingāļøšš If youāve never been to Aldiās go and fill a shopping trolley and and see what extra items you can get that you werenāt expecting to find, youāll be totally surprised at the total price at the checkout and I can guarantee you will be happy with the prices and the quality of the food and amount of items you get for the same price as you would pay for at the more expensive supermarkets; I guarantee you will be back shopping at Aldiās regularly. They are the best and cheapest supermarket for families on a tight budget or those who want more food and household items for the same amount of money they usually pay at the major supermarkets. Parking is always easy too! Donāt forget to bring a $1 or $2 coin for the use of the trolleys or you can buy an Aldiās disk especially for the trolley use on a keyring for $2. I donāt know what I would do without Aldiās grocery storesšš
Google says: - Efficient and no-frills: ALDI stores are designed for efficiency, with a straightforward layout to minimize overhead costs. They feature a wide variety of limited-time items ranging from home goods to electronics and apparel. The store image is built around offering a curated selection of products, particularly its very popular weekly āspecials aislesā Fast-paced: The shopping experience is designed to be quick, with products often displayed in their shipping cartons to save time on stocking shelves. Cashier efficiency: Shoppers need to bag their own groceries to help maintain the low prices. Limited variety: Unlike traditional supermarkets, ALDI stores offer a much smaller selection of products, which helps keep costs down and simplifies and eases the shopping process.
I still go to the major supermarkets but only when they have half price products which I stock up on. That is the only way I can stick to a budget on my pension and afford to eat quality food and why extra items that I would otherwise not be able to...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreLove this place. Cheaper than the major supermarkets and products just as good or better. The Aldi brands are in some cases, inferior to the name brands from other shops, but in many cases far superior. The chocolate is better than Cadbury.
The Aldi in Wollongong is my main shopping centre which I visit once every week or so, it's opening hours restrict times but it's worth conforming to them.
The first section through the door is the fruit, it's always good to have a healthy diet so I often start with some bananas and mandarins when they're in season. Next is the meat, vegetarians and vegans can skip this section. After that comes the other cold things like dairy and juice. Snacks follow; chips and chocolate moslty. The middle isles are always full of goodies, sometimes tools and hardware, sometimes camping or sports gear, often cooking accessories and necessities - something for everyone. All this and I'm not even half way through the store!
Once I bought a box of 20. Streets assorted icecreams for $20. A great deal by anyones...
