Surfside 22 Hotel Wollongong — Hotel in Wollongong City Council

We stayed 2 nights at this absolutely outstanding motel! It is situated across the road from the Entertainment Centre which was perfect as we attended the Cold Chisel concert! A short stroll to the club for dinner and drinks! A short stroll to the beach. The motel is meticulously renovated and decorated and super clean! The decor, colours and accessories are fitting with the beachside vibe.The king size bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! (Im looking at buying the same mattress is was that good)The crisp sheets and bedding were beautiful! The rainwater shower was divine,and the soft white robe to lay around in is an added luxury! The staff were truly amazing,showing us to our room, and the super easy to use key for your phone. Check out was easy too as done on your phone also. Parking was conveniently on the premises.Everything about this place is 10/10! Do yourself a favour and book! Definitely...

Lux renovation. This place will do very well! We stayed just one night but had the two rooms / family rooms with our two kids. Loved the vibe/ hair products and quality of everything in the room. Plunge pool is deep! Area around it very instagramable. Sauna takes a while to heat up so think about that in advance and build in the time.

Only niggles were everything was so new it was hard to get chargers in the brand new plugs 😂

I think that they should build on their brand and offer their merch for sale on the front - pink surf side tshirts/hats/stubbie holders/stickers - the vibe is worth capitalising on .. suspect this is just the beginning (again) for this...

Beautifully renovated retro style motel, generous rooms, comfy bed. Very clean. Equipped kitchenette and fabulous location. I will say however that although the venetian blinds suit the style of the room if you are in one of the rooms not sheltered by the building next door (we were in 26) the sun shines straight through them at sun- up and it's like a torch shining on you (yes, the blinds were closed) not good if you are looking for a sleep in. Bree was super helpful and friendly. Found the cocktail bar a bit gimmicky as you would need to bring all supplies to use it. Maybe cocktail packs available? A little wider shelving in the bathroom would've been good, got to make sure the toilet lid is always down. Bit pricey for what you got but it was a long weekend. All in all, a lovely quirky...
