Oak & Stone Cafe — Restaurant in Woodend

Absolutely loving the new café Oak and Stone! Hands down the best coffee in Woodend – smooth, rich, and consistently great. I had the Eggs Benny breakfast bun and it was epic – perfectly balanced and freshly cooked to order.

I've also popped in for lunch a couple of times and can highly recommend the mango protein shake (refreshing and just the right consistency) The chicken schnitzel focaccia – seriously next level, packed with flavour and crunch .

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down one of the best cafés in Woodend — Oak & Stone absolutely blew me away! The flavours were out of this world. I had a croissant that was so soft and airy it practically floated, and this focaccia (see pic!) that was loaded with flavour, crunch, and melt-in-your-mouth goodness.

The service? Fast, friendly, and genuinely warm. I didn’t just feel like a customer — they made me feel like family.

As someone who's been in and out of Woodend for the past 6 years, I can confidently say this café is a gem. Whether you’re grabbing a takeaway or settling in with your laptop (like I did), it’s the perfect spot.

My wife and I did the tourist thing over four days travelling through "Macedon; Woodend, Dalesford and Hanging Rock. We initially found it a little difficult to find a Caffe that partakes in both our palates for breakfast and lunch however; on the last day we found il Caffe Woodend. We have never come across such friendly people and the menu is exceptional. We highly recommend il Caffe for your next meal.
