The Lake Cafe was only slightly confusing to find, as it IS located within the Visitor's Centre. Once there, the food was good, fresh, and home cooked. We were told by a couple of different folks that this is the place to go for a great lunch, and we can't disagree. Chloe went out of her way to make sure that my 3 year old was taken care of as well as his parents; the attention was appreciated. Read moreWe sat on the deck, on a cool day. Close to the heater, it was quite comfy. I needed to order gluten free, and was pleased to find that was easy (pumpkin and chick pea curry, just the ticket). My companion had a pair of little savoury tarts, which he really enjoyed. We sat outside specially to keep an eye on the water. There was a lovely little grebe keeping us company.
