One of the best restaurants in Darwin to have Indian subcontinental food. Loved their Fuchka (panipuri), Chotpoti (chickpea)as it gave more of Bengali taste than Indian after a longtime. We tried Chotpoti, Fuchka (they had vegetarian options for both), chicken tikka, samosa chat, chicken tandoori platter with naan, butter chicken, chicken biriyani etc. So far the cheapest dinner we had in Darwin atm. Very friendly staff members, good quality of food with Bengali and Indian fusion. Kids friendly and they can go and enjoy Hologram Zoo at the same time. After trying nearly all indian cuisine in Darwin, this place made a place in Bangladeshi heart and taste bud! The food is so amazing! We ordered 2 full mandi, 1 Fried rice with Tandori Chicken, 2 Pani puri, 1 Sweet Lassi and 1 Virgin Mohito. The foods were so good, we forgot to capture rest of the items. The Rainforest Restaurant delivered an unforgettable dining experience for our daughters’ birthday dinner.. The food was absolutely delicious—flavourful, beautifully presented, tasted great.
