Absolutely HORRIBLE experience!! We were waiting at our table for about 10 minutes when we decided to approach a tall man standing at the counter with a lady. I politely asked the lady whether I should place my order there or wait at the table. Out of nowhere, this waiter snapped and yelled aggressively, telling us: “go sit at your table and wait, if you don’t want to wait just get up and leave because this is not Mcdonalds”. loud enough for everyone to hear. Also, he cant really compare this small place in the middle of nowhere to a large international chain.
When I explained it was just a question, as we didn’t know the ordering process, and that he could’ve answered without being disrespectful, he doubled down and accused us, shouting: “You don’t tell me what to do in my country, this is not your country!”
Let me be clear: I am Arab, from the United Arab Emirates. This place doesn’t really fascinate me. His comment was not only unprofessional but deeply offensive. The irony? The place was packed entirely with Arabs and frankly, if it weren’t for Arab customers, this business would probably shut down.
My mistake was not checking the Google reviews before stopping by, turns out, everyone complains about the exact same issue and the exact same guy.
We walked out because, honestly, the place wasn’t worth it to begin with. The interior looked poorly maintained, far from inviting, and hard to reach. The staff showed zero respect, only extreme attitude. Avoid the place at all costs, there were fancier cafes around that match...
Read moreIn short - a beautiful location with completely wasted potential.
This place is, unfortunately, a total tourist trap - which is a shame, because it has so much potential. The location is fantastic, the space itself is beautiful, and the view is absolutely breathtaking.
The disappointment starts as soon as you open the menu. The food selection is extremely limited, and more importantly, the quality is very poor. You wouldn’t mind paying higher prices for a coffee (or food) in such a lovely place, but when it arrives, it’s honestly one of the worst coffees I’ve ever had in a café.
What’s even more surprising is that the menu specifically mentions that service charge (tip) is not included. People would gladly leave a tip if they didn’t walk away feeling completely ripped off. The quality simply does not match the prices.
I think whoever manages this place should seriously reconsider their approach - or maybe hand it over to someone else. All it would take is to buy better coffee and serve a proper cappuccino. Add a few more decent dishes instead of just fries and chicken nuggets, and this place could easily have much...
Read moreThe service was extremely disappointing. We were ignored for a long time, and when we finally approached the staff, a tall waiter yelled at us in a rude and aggressive manner, telling us to wait and if we didn’t want to, we should just leave. When I asked him to be respectful he kept shouting at us, telling us to leave immediately. I walked out because we Arabs don’t stay in places that show no respect. After reading the other reviews, I sincerely hope action is taken against him.
I still can’t understand why this waiter was so defensive and racist towards us. He acted as though he owned the place, when in reality, his only role is to serve customers. He came across as frustrated and unapproachable. Everything about this cafe was disappointing, from the service to the attitude of the staff. Easily the worst experience I’ve had in...
