“Gastronomia Pane e Vino in Bad Hofgastein is a true gem for Italian cuisine lovers! We had a wonderful dinner there and were impressed by the authentic Italian dishes and the warm, family-like atmosphere. The restaurant is quite popular, so we highly recommend making a reservation in advance.

We visited with our one-year-old daughter, and the experience was incredibly pleasant. They had a high chair ready for us, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The selection of cheeses was extensive and of excellent quality.

A special mention goes to the owner, a true grappa connoisseur who guided us expertly through their selection. He recommended what he considered the best grappas, which were not the most expensive ones on the menu, showing both fairness and great expertise.

The service was friendly and efficient. The decor isn't particularly sophisticated, but the atmosphere is pleasant. The food was delicious. The Capricciosa pizza featured flavorful ham and high-quality artichokes, while the Diavola pizza was properly spicy, just as it should be. Among the starters, the prosciutto with arugula, sun-dried tomatoes, and mozzarella di bufala was absolutely delightful. The mozzarella, in particular, stood out with its fantastic flavor.
