Baumbar — Restaurant in Kaprun

Fantastic experience! The atmosphere was light and different in each area. The bar had a nice feel to it and the dining room was classy. We enjoyed the outdoor seating with it's very summery and fun feel to it.

The staff was so friendly and our server was very helpful. She made sure I could enjoy my meal free of any gluten and all her recommendations for my husband and I were superb.

My husband had the truffle pasta and pizza bread, which were both very delicious. I had the superfood bowl, which was extremely tasty and refreshing with fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, and a lot of lush greens. It was missing the quinoa but was still very satisfying.

For dessert, we had the best frozen yogurt we have ever had--which they make in-house.

Highly recommend this delicious restaurant, we will most likely visit again during our visit...

I was really disappointed. First of all, the place was completely empty and still we waited for our food around 20-25 minutes! You don't need more than a few minutes to grill a steak.

Secondly, we sat outside and when the food arrived our table was filled with flies!! The entire time we were there trying to eat flies were surrounding us and not letting us eat quietly. It's really disgusting.

On top of that, the food wasn't as good as expected. I ordered the deluxe burger as it's their signature dish, and as a burger enthusiast, unfortunately it was below average. Visited a week ago on our way from Kitsteinhorn. based upon the rewievs. Very nice place, good service but the food was awfull. Maybe the burgers are good but that is just a fast food… We ordered 2 tomato soups. They were too strong made mostly out of Concentrate. 8,50 EUR each. For the main course we ordered their specialty Salmon with a lemon rice and Shrimps. The Salmon cooked perfectly but the rice with too strong taste. The shrimps were also cooked perfectly but swimming in the water. Altough plating was again good. It seems to me that something is missing in the kitchen.
