I had high hopes for this restaurant. The quality of the food was a big disappointment. The tomatoes in our tomato/mozzarella (Caprese) were sliced paper thin. The tomato soup tasted watered down. I've had a better soup from a jar in a local grocery store. Finally, their version of Carbonara is anything but. While it was a tasty pasta dish, it was served in a garlic creme sauce and instead of bacon/speck, there were pieces of sliced ham. As for desert, we ordered a chocolate-vanilla sundae. Instead of a 50-50 portion of chocolate and vanilla ice cream, it was 80 percent vanilla. Read moreVery cool place with a vast, affordable selection of food. I went with my friends on a busy evening and the food came very fast and was absolutely delightful. They brought the parmesan on the side so I could choose how much I could add, and tap water was on the house but we weren't asked about refills. When the waiter came to take back our empty plates, he balanced all 7 plates on one arm, which was quite impressive. The ice cream was delightful, Overall an amazing...

The family who runs the place (and the pizzeria Corleone just a few hundred meters away and just as good) does this for about 25 years already. Especially the "patron" has to be mentioned positively! In 25 years, ALWAYS kind and helpful, ALWAYS working and really a man to look up to as a role model. Nowadays, the next generation is taking over business and for now, it seems that they are practicing what their father taught...
