Cafe Konditorei Ramitz –A Cozy Vintage Gem in Krems

Located right next to the Krems train station, Cafe Konditorei Ramitz is a charming spot that perfectly blends vintage coziness with a touch of royal elegance. The ambience feels warm and welcoming ,a wonderful place to relax with a cup of coffee or enjoy a leisurely breakfast. The staff are exceptionally friendly and make you feel at home the moment you walk in. I tried two of their beverages: ☕ Wiener Melange – an absolute delight, smooth and perfectly balanced. 🍫 American Hot Chocolate – their best-seller, and I now understand why! The marshmallows add a beautiful touch that makes it stand out from any other hot chocolate I’ve had. As for pastries, I sampled a variety, and each had its own unique charm: 🍓 Chocolate Strawberry Mousse Cake – sweet yet balanced, definitely worth trying. 🎵 Mozart Torte – a royal treat with marzipan, rich and elegant. 🌰 Maroni Torte – my personal favorite! Wonderfully balanced flavor and an excellent texture. Highly recommended. 🥜 Wachauer Torte – quite sweet with a nice nutty profile; decent overall. 🍫 Nougat Torte – good, creamy nougat flavor though not my top pick. 🍌 Chocolate Banana Schnitte – another favorite! Perfectly balanced with a lovely chocolate-banana combination. 🌰 Mandel Torte – average in my opinion, a bit dry, but still enjoyable. 🥐 Nougat Croissant – a must-try! Crunchy on the outside, soft inside, and filled with delicious nougat cream. 🍫-Truffle Torte the chocolate flavour seemed disappointing for me and didnt match the aesthetic look. ☕️- Tiramisu Schnitte was honestly not the best which I tried it was disappointing. Overall, Cafe Konditorei Ramitz is truly one of the best cafes in Krems for coffee, pastries, or breakfast. They offer a large variety of breakfast options, and everything feels made with care and tradition. My top recommendations: Maroni Torte, Chocolate Banana Schnitte, Nougat Croissant, and Chocolate Strawberry Mousse Cake,American hot chocolate. Their almond raisin Brioche was dry and not that good.

I would say they sell the best Hot chocolates in Krems as their American hot chocolate with marshmellow creamy chocolate milk and whipped cream makes it really stand out!!! A lovely spot to unwind and savor the taste of classic Austrian...

We thoroughly enjoyed our time during the advent season here, especially relishing the delightful waffle. However, a small suggestion would be to reconsider serving filter tea for 4 euros, considering it's a common item available in stores for around 10 cents. Nonetheless, our overall experience was delightful, and we look forward to more visits in the future.

Update: In the summer my impression was that guests were more of a nuisance than a joy for the staff. I sat at the table for 20 minutes and nobody asked what I would like. In the end, I left and spent my...

Been here again after about 20 years time.... But good things seem to last!

Mozart cake is a fantastic piece of heaven. Just right. Not too sweet, not too dry, excellent. Chocolate lovers should try the Pariser Spitz. An incredible experience for your taste buds. Coffee comes from Meinl and the machine is perfectly balanced for very smooth taste.

Staff was a bit slow, even though the place was empty. They seemed a bit under-challenged...
