Schmid's — Restaurant in Krems an der Donau

Amazing place to go to with friends or family. So many beer options that they have a separate menu. I am not much of a beer person but my dad was impressed by their IPAs. Burgers are really good with homemade sauces and are all delicious. I have witnessed the 'cat burger' bring two spice lovers to their knees on separate occasions. There is something for everyone here, and we are always treated well. The service might be a bit slow but it gives you more opportunity to take in the atmosphere and the anticipation adds to the taste, I think. Their fries are spoon shaped and ideal to scoop out sauce, although their sweet potato fries leaave a lot to be desired. I’ve been to this restaurant many times before but this visit left me very disappointed… We ordered 3 burgers which were completely burned and the meat looked so black that we almost could eat it. Moreover the waitress which was delivering the food brought the food to a different table (which does not sound that bad except for the fact that this table was next to us and we kept telling her that it’s our food and she completely ignored us). I find this behaviour extremely rude. In the end we got our food but were disappointed with the look and taste of it anyway… Definitely not the best day for...

If you like beer and burgers you gotta go to Schmids Restaurant. They have over 50 different kinds of beers, plus beer cocktails, ciders and for all you pregnant beer lovers they even have different kinds of non-alcoholic beer. Their Burgers are amazingly tasty with all kinds of seasoning and saußes. Of course they serve also non-meat burgers for all you vegetarians out there.
