Lily's Kitchen — Restaurant in Linz

The food was good, but extremely over priced. One papaya salad, rather small sized than medium, costed 12 euro.

My friend ordered a soup and confirmed also that what she ordered was tasty. Nevertheless the price for the soup only was no less than 18 euros.

But what was extremely bothering was the behavior of the person who served us. He basically chased us to order fast, came at our table several times rolling his eyes and watching this watch, the atmosphere was not friendly at all and we felt under pressure.

At the end when he asked us if we order any desert and we said not it was the same thing on repeat: eyes rolling, watching is watch, making clear to us that we are wasting precious time, even if there were free tables in the restaurant and we were basically the last customers.

My friend had to outside to withdraw money since payment with card was not allowed. We did not receive any invoice at the end.

We will not come back, food was ok, but highly overpriced and the service quality was extremely poor for a restaurant that charges so much and gives you at the...

I have given a 4star review before as I always order Pho from Lily’s. But today we ordered Pho to be delivered via Mjam and it was disgusting! I ordered mine without onions and sprouts and it both came packed with onions and sprouts…. What’s the point writing in comments what you don’t want if they just ignore it? We called them up to tell them as we both have covid and are staying at home we can’t collect the new order they wanted to reimburse us with. So they said next time we go we can get free Pho. Direkt am Alter Markt, in der Linzer Altstadt, umgeben von prachtvollen Häusern die einiges zu erzählen haben für den, der gewillt ist zu hören zu wollen, aus der langen Linzer Geschichte, kann Mensch sowohl in einem netten und gemütlichen Innenbereich, als auch direkt auf dem Marktplatz in der Sonne oder im Schatten eines Baumes die abwechslungsreiche hervorragende vietnamesische Küche genießen. Als ehemaligem Vietnam Reisenden zieht es mich immer wieder mit wohliger Erinnerung zu einem Vietnamesen. Es ist eine so vorzügliche Küche die leicht ist, und dem Magen und der Seele gut tut. Nachdem ich nun zum zweiten Mal Lily's Kitchen besucht habe, fühle ich mich gefestigt genug eine Rezension zu Verfassen. Die Küche ist wirklich gut. Natürlich kann es nicht wie in Vietnam schmecken. Die Zutaten sind nicht direkt nebenan frisch zu bekommen, und es wird auch nicht für Vietnamesen gekocht, sondern für Europäer die manchmal eine etwas diffuse Vorstellung von dieser Küche haben und auch einen"anderen" Geschmack. Aber die Qualität ist gut, das Preis- Leistungs Verhältnis passt, und der Service ist nett, zügig und freundlich. Die Portionen machen satt und ich fühle mich dort eingeladen und angenommen.
