Very elegantly and luxuriously furnished restaurant, especially the view of the Mariendom from the windows is majestic. The food was visually attractive served, good taste. Wagyu flank for 41 Euro was not a good choice. The steak came already covered with a sauce and was not medium rare, as I wanted it, rather medium and because it was served sliced, it cooled down very quickly. It was also not optimal that the steak was mixed with a mixture of roasted bacon, onion rings and pimentos, for a total of 12 Euro. Instead of the ordered fries with chilli mayo, I got fried potato chips with ketchup. After the complaint, I got chili mayo. As for the standard filet steak, that was the better choice. And at a better price. Moreover, the olives in the appetizer were not optimal - the guest has nowhere to put the pits and to eat the olives must either use a fork for the main course or eat with bare hands. On the positive note, I would highlight the beers on offer, the Kristall Schlägl on tap and Pauls Bier in the bottle were very good. As well as the wine. The service was fast and attentive, but a bit measured, and as for the friendly approach, the waiter did the minimum necessary, but did not give the impression that he enjoys serving guests in the restaurant. Leider war der letzte Besuch ein völliger Flop. Schon beim Empfang bekamen wir nicht diesen Tisch den ich eigentlich schriftlich reserviert hatte.

Da wir bereits vor 18.00 Uhr dort waren, suchte ich eine alternative für 6 Personen, da dieser Tisch von allen Seiten umzingelt war und man kein Wort sprechen konnte, ohne dass die Tischnachbarn jede Einzelheit verstanden.

Ich sprach den Kellner darauf an ob wir einen von mir ausgewählten Tisch tauschen könnte, was er zustimmte.

In der Zwischenzeit kamen auch schon unsere Gäste, leider wurden wir nicht bedient ca. 25 min. alle anderen Gäste schon, auch die wesentlich später erschienen sind. Daraufhin sprach ich den Kellner an, dass wir nun auch endlich was zu trinken bestellen möchten, seine Antwort darauf „ich schicke gleich jemanden"

Wieder vergingen ca. 5-10 min. bei jedem Blickkontakt mit dem Kellner gab ich Ihm ein unmissverständliches Zeichen, dass noch immer kein Kollege gekommen ist.

Nach einer Zeit kam dann ein Kellner mit Bart, der angeblich ein Weinkenner sei. Er war völlig desinteressiert, hat Getränkebestellung aufgenommen und mir die Weinkarte ohne Worte auf den Tisch geknallt. Nachdem die Getränke gebracht wurden fragte ich ihn nach seiner Weinempfehlung bzw. was er von den 2 von mir ausgewählten Weinen hält Franzosen ca. € 300,00/Flasche.

Ich bestellte die hochwertigere. Anschließend gaben wir unsere Essensbestellung bekannt.

Leider passte kein einziges Gericht . bei meinem Schwager war der Burger (Fleisch) angebrannt ja richtig verkohlt serviert . bei meiner Freundin wurden nur 6 St. Austern serviert anstelle von 12 Stück bestellten wurden dann nach meiner Aufforderung nachserviert . bei meiner Schwiegertochter wurden falsche Pommes mit dem Burger serviert Beilagen wurden dann nach meiner Aufforderung widerwillig angepasst und serviert . bei meinem Sohn wurden ebenfalls ein ausgetrockneter Burger mit nicht bestellter Beilage serviert Beilagen wurden dann nach meiner Aufforderung widerwillig angepasst und serviert . bei meiner Schwester wurde ebenfalls ein verkohlter ausgetrockneter Burger serviert . bei mir war mein Steak, mit Öl und Kräuter übergossen, die Garstufe war durch, bestellt hatte ich rare, das Fleisch war zäh und faserig

Daraufhin sprach ich einen Kellner an ob ihr anderen Koch habt, denn die Speisen sind völlig anders als die gewohnten, was er verneinte, er meinte nur wir haben die Speisekarte etwas geändert.

Auf meine Unzufriedenheit angesprochen sagte er nur sorry tut mir Leid und war auch schon wieder weg. Keine Alternative, kein Interesse, es war für uns absolut kein Kellner als Ansprechperson vorhanden.

Wir aßen alle unsere Gerichte damit wir nicht noch länger warten müssen.

Der Kellner mit Bart (Weinkenner) war ständig auf der anderen Seite bei den Tischen unterwegs, wir wurden den ganzen Abend nicht einmal gefragt ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten oder sonstiges, völlig ignoriert.

Ich bin jetzt ca. 8 – 10 mal innerhalb von 6 Monaten als Gast bei Ihnen (bezahlte Rechnungen ca. € 7.000,00) , es war bis dato zumindest die location und das Service einwandfrei, bei Speisen kann immer was daneben gehen, aber gestern hat bis auf location nichts gepasst.

Jetzt frage ich sie mal, ich habe gestern wieder € 870,00 inkl. Trinkgeld bezahlt, so wie fast bei jedem Besuch, für ein schlechtes Essen und absolut ignoranten Service, finden sie das in Ordnung?.

diese Beschwerde habe ich an den Chef selber gesendet, folgende Antwort kam zurück "Vielen Dank für Ihr ausführliches Feedback. Ich werde das mit meinem Team besprechen und melde mich nochmal". gemeldet hat sich nach mittlerweilen 14 Tagen niemand, keine Entschuldigung oder es tut mit leid, nichts nothing.

Ich werde definitiv dieses Lokal nicht mehr betreten, auch meinen Geschäftsfreunden...

First. The presentation of the food, the restaurant interior and the service was excellent. The location next to the cathedral is top. Clean restrooms and also a nice area to sit outside. It was my first visit here and the expectations were very high, especially when ordering a €70 steak (without sides). My friends had a "standard" filet steak but both types were not prepared as ordered. The time on the grill was slightly too long which resulted in imperfect results. My steak had additionally a slightly different smell and aftertaste like I am used to. I know a good steak from around the world because of my business travels, but this one was slightly different for my taste. At the time it was ok for us because we were hungry and we finished our meal anyways. We told the waiter what we didn't like so that it doesn't happen again. Just for this first experience I would not try it again. My friends were pretty much happy with their...

This was a pretty weird experience! Not in a good way as well… we came in because we read such wonderful reviews but the reality was that the service was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced, the surprise menu started interesting but then proved that they are trying to just make money, the steak served as part of the 60€ meal was less than 100 grams, the worst part was that we had to wait during the three course menu for an astonishing 2.5 hours and after about 2 hours when I first asked (politely and in German) if we’re ever gonna get the dessert, the response from the staff was rude and loud… can’t stress it enough Don’t waste your money and time here if your visiting Linz

This was a pretty weird experience! Not in a good way as well… we came in because we read such wonderful reviews but the reality was that the service was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced, the surprise menu started interesting but then proved that they are trying to just make money, the steak served as part of the 60€ meal was less than 100 grams, the worst part was that we had to wait during the three course menu for an astonishing 2.5 hours and after about 2 hours when I first asked (politely and in German) if we’re ever gonna get the dessert, the response from the staff was rude and loud… can’t stress it enough Don’t waste your money and time here if your visiting Linz
