Quote from the owner: "No cash - no drink"

We came in to watch a match of European Championships, on Monday. We went to the bar for a drink, a Sprite and a Alcohol free beer. Nowhere in the bar it said "Cash Only", and since we were in a modern country, with cars, electricity, clothes etc, we thought payment with a credit card would be possible. When we kindly asked if we could pay with our credit card, the owner Mike looked aggresive on us, directly poured our drinks out - and said "No cash - no drinks".

Of course we left and never returned after that behaviour😅

Just looking on the owners Mike, comments on all the other bad ratings, establishes how Passive Aggressive he is☺️

Had our welcome meeting at Mike’s, and asked at the bar for a Diet Coke, only to find out they were attempting to give me the last of a 2lt plastic bottle as they didn’t have anymore and which clearly was flat, so I decided on a lemonade which for €3 tasted nasty and warm.

Everyone has been raving about this place, but I am sorry for warm tasteless lemonade and to charge €3 I cannot recommend and not will I return.

Value for money there are many other restaurants and bars...

The only place to watch the rugby and doesn’t it know it. Nigh on impossible to get served, cash only when you do and it’s absolutely roasting hot inside. We left at half time because it was so bad. The bar staff were rude and arrogant, too.
