After a two week camping trip we stopped in Mondsee for our last night, my husband craving steak I set out to look for a steak restaurant. Tauris did not disappoint. Quite possibly the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. we ordered the steak from the weekly menu, 3 week aged cote de boeuf. The steak was cooked so perfectly and we got it with the chili lime butter. This coupled with a sprinkling of their chili salt, was like a small orgasm in the mouth. Truly so good. The weekly dessert of brownie and cherry sorbet was equally as good. Everything was just spot on. The service was also on point, despite being super busy. Read moreI came along with my husband straight from skiing, and we were very mistreated. The waiter waited a long time before assisting us, and after a while, he told us they didn’t have availability without reservations, even though there was a lot of free tables.
We went to a next door restaurant, Vini e Panini (very good, by the way - italian food) and had an amazing dinner. After we finished, we passed by Tauris again, and of course the tables were still free.
