Restaurant Soul House — Restaurant in Saalbach-Hinterglemm

Terrible experience, we made a reservation way upfront (3 days). At 20.00 o clock we arrived and we got directly a table, so far so good. After 30 minutes we took the menus from the bar ourselves, because it was not provided to us. We tried to catch a waiter to order something to drink but the waiter was too busy unfortunately. When the waiter finally came, he told us that he was very sorry for the delay, some staff was ill. We wanted to order cheese fondue, but that was not possible, we had to made a reservation upfront for that. We had a reservation, but not specifically for cheese fondue. The waiter told us they already had three big groups of people down stairs who were having cheese fondue so this was not possible. Not the best experience. If your are short on staff, just immediately tell the guests when you seat them about the situation, communication is key. Make clear in your reservation tool that you have to mention if you would like to eat...

The service was unbeliveble rude after our evening dinner. The food was almous okay, but to people of our group was disapointed about their portion. They ask the waiter if they can have something, because the food was not that what they write on the list and there was something on the portion that they can not eat. The waiter start to arque with them and did't even ask, what they can do and what those two need to be pleased? BWir haben das Fleisch-Fondue bestellt und vorab ein Beef Tatar. Es wurden Vorspeise und Fondue ziemlich schnell, zur gleichen Zeit und vor allen Dingen lieblos serviert. Die Saucen für das Fondue kamen von Henkelmann aus der Verpackung und die eine Schale Mixed Pickles Beilagen offensichtlich aus der Dose. Das Filet war bereits grau angesetzt. Wir haben zum Fondue auch noch nie Pommes serviert bekommen. Selbstverständlich ist das Geschmacksache! Die Qualität und Menge der Produkte wahr eben grauenhaft und in Österreich haben wir noch nie so schlechtes Essen oder Fondue erhalten. Wir haben den wirklich sehr netten Kellner gebeten uns die Rechnung zu bringen, da uns das Essen vergangen ist. Er selbst war sehr bemüht und peinlich berührt und bat seinen Chef , das Fondue von der Rechnung zu nehmen . Wir mussten dennoch für zwei Personen Fondue Bezahlen. 70 Euro , gegessen haben wir davon nichts. Grundsätzlich war es auch im Ansatz das Geld nicht wert . Ehrlich gesagt , alles in allem eine Katastrophe.. Abzocke ohne Gleichen. Eigentlich bin ich für positive Kritik und denke bei jeglicher negativer Kritik schädigt der Kunde den Gastronomen. In dieser Hinsicht hat uns dieser Gastronom aber einfach geschädigt. Es gibt in Saalbach wirklich tolle Restaurants und Almhütten. Nur dieses Restaurant zählt wirklich nicht dazu.
