I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lakhi's Indian Kitchen in Salzburg, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The restaurant has earned its well-deserved five stars for several reasons. First and foremost, the staff at Lakhi's Indian Kitchen is incredibly friendly and attentive. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to make my dining experience enjoyable. The excellent customer service added a personal touch to the meal and made me feel truly valued as a customer. The ambience of the restaurant is another highlight. The interior is adorned with live plants throughout the year, creating a refreshing and inviting atmosphere. The abundance of greenery gives the place a vibrant and fresh look, making it an ideal setting for a relaxing meal. It's a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. Lakhi's Indian Kitchen offers an incredible culinary experience, and I was particularly impressed with the masala samosas. The flavors were rich, and the spices were perfectly balanced, creating a taste sensation that left me craving more. Each dish I tried showcased the chef's skill and commitment to delivering authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. One of the most pleasant surprises was the reasonable pricing. Despite the high-quality ingredients and impeccable service, the menu offers great value for money. Lakhi's Indian Kitchen proves that you don't have to break the bank to enjoy top-notch Indian cuisine in Salzburg. In conclusion, Lakhi's Indian Kitchen is a gem in Salzburg. With its friendly staff, inviting ambience, mouthwatering dishes (especially the masala samosas), and reasonable prices, it's a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will definitely be returning for more culinary delights in the future!

I had a lovely dinner at this cozy spot, and what stood out right from the start was the owner—an incredibly warm and chatty lady who really made the experience feel personal and welcoming. The place does get busy, so make sure to book ahead! I tried some vegetarian dishes, starting with chat and samosas, paired with a refreshing mango drink and later, some tea. For the main course, I had the Paneer Kadhai with Roomali Roti on the side, and it was perfect—the spice level was spot on. The Amritsari Chole with Kalaunji Naan is a must-try! The ambiance was bright and uplifting, with hanging money plants. They also offer non-veg options and drinks, so there’s something for everyone. Plus, the menu changes from time to time, which is always exciting. Highly recommend.

That was a really good Indian restaurant! Normally I'm not a big fan and have my troubles with the spices, but here not at all. It's amazing and stands for the quality of food they serve! I had a Khadaki(?) chicken together with garlic bread and rice. Really delicious and quite intense spices. The chicken was super tender and delicious. As a drink I had a ginger lemon iced tea. I can also recommend this kind of drink if you want it a little refreshing. As dessert I had sugared gris with pineapple. Quite heavy and because of the pineapple very refreshing and not so dry. The service and waitresses were very friendly and nice. All together for two people I've paid 70 euros (4 euros tip). I would like to come again and discover the Indian cruise much more! 😊

A Culinary Gem for Authentic Indian Cuisine: Lakhi's Kitchen

Rarely does a restaurant inspire back-to-back visits, but Lakhi's Kitchen is an exception, and for good reason. This dining haven offers an impeccable blend of authentic Indian flavors and warm, attentive service that lingers in your memory long after the meal.

What sets Lakhi's Kitchen apart is its focus on quality over quantity. The curated menu avoids overwhelming diners with excessive options, instead presenting a selection of dishes that exemplify the raw and pure essence of Indian cuisine.

Among the standouts, the Mangalorian Chicken Sukha is a delightful medley of spices, perfectly balanced and cooked to perfection. The flaky, buttery Malabar Paratha pairs beautifully with the robust flavors of the Andhra Spicy Lamb and the aromatic Malabar Chicken Curry. For those who enjoy a smokier profile, the Lamb Seekh Kabab is an absolute must-try, and vegetarians will relish the crispy, flavor-packed Aloo Tikki.

Beyond the food, the service deserves a special mention. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness elevate the dining experience, making every guest feel welcomed and valued.

Lakhi's Kitchen is not just a meal; it’s a celebration of Indian culinary tradition. Whether you’re a connoisseur of Indian food or a curious first-timer, this restaurant promises an unforgettable gastronomic journey. Highly...

Had a very pleasant and lovely dining experience here. When we were searching in Salzburg for a restaurant where dosa would be available this restaurant popped up. As we went on a weekday we were not able to try Dosa but we had Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan. The food was really delicious and it really felt heavenly. The taste truly reminded me of authentic Indian cuisine which is generally compromised in most of the Indian restaurants in EU. I thoroughly enjoyed each bite of the scrumptious meal. I had a brief interaction with the owners as well as the staff and they were really friendly, warm and welcoming. The location was in a quiet locality and not so touristy but the place is definitely worth the visit. If you really love Indian food and crave for it, this place is the best and worth visiting as they maintain the authenticity of the dish. The ambience is also great. I would highly recommend people to visit this restaurant and I would definitely love to...
