Very disappointed with the experience here. Prices aren’t listed in an obvious place, so we had to rely on asking the man running the stand. When I asked, he said a number which I didn’t hear, so I asked him to repeat it. The second price he gave me was higher than the first, which my friend had heard. When we asked about it, he denied saying the lower price.

As we were eating, we saw the listed price on the side of the stall, which was lower than what he charged us. When we asked about that, he said it was due to a larger size. Given he didn’t ask us what size we wanted, I’m not sure how this would be the case. He also showed us 2 pitas, which looked to be the same size.

Though the food was decent, I wouldn’t recommend this stand, as you may be scammed. If you do go, make sure to check the price on the side...

Terrible experience tonight! First we were given food and asked to pay for food which we did not order! This has happened before. The menu is complicated and the prices not clear.

The we found a rock in the food. I mentioned it Just so the boss knew and he immediately escalated the situation and told me that couldn’t possibly be! Instead just apologizing…. I wasn’t asking for a refund.

I used to come here quite often, I even brought my family here when they visited all away from America because I always found it such a special place.

I am sad that the experience tonight was so...

I am obviously biased, as Syrian food is almost as popular in Egypt as Egyptian food. So this makes me feel like home!

They always advertise their falafel, and don't get me wrong, their falafel is amazing, but what is not to miss is the fatet hummus. It is this chickpea dish that would basically give you a hug while you're eating it.

I go there every other week to have it! Always delicious, always fresh and the value for money is crazy. Get a cup of tea once you're done with the food and then your...

awsum falafels, and worthy fatteh and other options, best is to takeaway or else passerby people tend to ask what are you eating before they order. also 1* less because always know the price b4 ordering or pay upfront and check back the change. we had some issues, don't want to detail but b aware. Maybe a one off case, hence we did not take it seriously. enjoy the food and the market.
