Bierreither Cafe Restaurant — Restaurant in Vienna

From the outside it looks like any ordinary street cafe, but don't let the appearance deceive you, this is a diamond pretending to be piece of glass.

I ordered the wiener schnitzel vom kalb and was offered a choice of chips or salad as a side dish. I decided on a salad. I also ordered a glass of white wine with the meal.

The service was excellent and I was served in English. I saw only two ladies working there and I take my hat off to them. One was the chef while the other served the tables, operated the till and adding final touches to desserts.

The schnitzel was huge, almost covering the plate, and was served with salad. I was served a salad side bowl as well.

The schnitzel was tender and delicious and the salad was fresh and refreshing. The cold wine complemented the dish perfectly.

I ordered the apple strudel with cream for dessert and coffee to complete the dinner.

The apple strudel with cream was absolutely divine, beautifull crust and tender apples, with a perfect hint of spice not to overpower the taste and served with a generous portion of cream.

I don't think I could have had a better taste of local cuisine had I been invited for dinner by any of the locals at their house.

Just been there. It wa very strange. We are bulgarian and waiter was bulgarian also. No english menu just german. Waiter try to help us with our choice but maybe because he forgot bulgarian a little bit, he was not very helpfull. Also very strange situation. Two of children ordered water - they are 10 and 15 years old - he bring them small beer. After this they ordered again water - he asked - still or princkeled. They said still and he bring peinckeled. I really loved my meal at Valenta’s. Every single item ordered was cooked to perfection — both technically and to the authentic traditional standards of the Viennese.
