It’s my local Vapiano, and I really loved going here as I’m a huge Vapiano lover, but I can’t justify it anymore! My husband has had food poisoning from here before and now myself! The staff there are super lovely but are definitely under staffed, the table waiter's do clear plates up well but I never see them wipe the surfaces or the kids high chairs. You’re lucky if you ever see two chefs cooking, always seems to be one or two that are clearly over worked and busy with orders. I think management need to understand that the restaurant might look empty but they have constant delivery guys collecting orders. The ladies who work at the bar area are super friendly and lovely but I do wonder why they can’t help clean tables and wipe surfaces more since most people use the self service area to order food, over the summer I watched one man clear tables, clean the toilet and then bring all the outdoor cushions inside whilst the bar/till woman stood there making maybe 4 drinks every half hour, this is clearly all down to bad management, at least from my point of view! Shame because it’s a lovely restaurant but clearly hygiene and proper management isn’t...
Read moreI don’t know what happened to Vapiano. These restaurants used to be good. We ordered through their screen (now this is their new way of ordering) and then our came without some ingredients that we ordered so I took the plates back to asked them to add them, then when eating I realized that the shrimps of my pasta gamberetti e spinach were uncooked plus the pasta tasted like nothing. They don’t have hosts anymore so I didn’t know to whom to complain about this, started to get full with bread and vinegar and oil and when pouring the vinegar it came with an eye lash 🤢🤮 I’m never eating here again. Everything it’s too expensive for this kind of service. Edit: I told the waiter and he sent the manager, he gave us the money for the pasta back and some desserts and apologised so I’m changing my service stars review from...
Read moreWhat is happening here is unacceptable in the service sector. When we arrived, we were surprised to see that the place was almost empty compared to restaurants in Budapest.
We greeted the pasta chef at the counter, who was chatting with a woman. Not only did he not greet us back, but he looked at us arrogantly, and we received no kindness. It was an unpleasant experience.
The quality of the food also left much to be desired. The pasta was overcooked and tasteless. My wife's carbonara was a soggy, flavorless dish compared to what we are used to eating in Budapest. I had pasta with scampy, and it wasn’t perfect either.
We hope the service level and food preparation improve, as we would return, because the restaurant has excellent...
