The “Geschmack Temple“ Restaurant is the perfect restaurant to celebrate a romantic dinner in Vienna, a birthday party, or to book a group dining event. Our five-party had the chilled apple/melon soup for a starter and wild fish from Hallstatt, finished with one of the best coffees in 1020 Vienna. When in Vienna’s second district, or if you are close to downtown, you won’t want to miss Geschmack Tempel!

Read moreEnticed by the promise of a Michelin-recommended restaurant we decided to use our one night in Vienna dining at this restaurant. The prices seemed reasonable, and the location convenient near a subway station so off we went. The mains we tried were absolutely fantastic and well worth the somewhat dear price of 24€ for a rather modest portion. The starters however, both the soup and mushroom thing were, in my opinion, overpriced rubbish. Wolfgang recommended us the mushroom from the daily special list, it’s heavenly delicious. My wife and I also ordered fresh water fish fillet and veal schnitzel, both are amazing. We will for sure come back again. Thank you Wolfgang for the detailed introduction of each dish’s ingredients and...
