(EDIT) Raising 1 star after reading the response from the restaurant to my review. I want to point out that we asked twice whether they made a mistake with the cheese plate. It's not about the money or the quality, it's about the quantity. Thanks for taking the time to respond, I will come back some time to give another chance.

ORIGINAL The atmosphere is nice, cozy place with flamenco music in the background. They have varied selection of food and service is attentive. There are two main reasons to give only 3 stars. The prices are high and I understand I'm Vienna and not in Spain, but I find unacceptable to be charged almost 20€ for 5 small pieces of cheese (see picture) or 3€ for a small croqueta. This is supposed to be a tapas bar, which means small dishes for affordable prices. Or higher prices for bigger rations. But that is not what I found here. The second reason is , it took them very long time to bring food but then they rushed us to leave the table after 2h, despite nobody waiting. I'm Spanish and this is not what I expected, yet less when I brought some international friends to try the concept.

INCREDIBLY RUDE!

Service was incredibly slow, we only received 2 of the 3 dishes we ordered and the food we did receive was cold when it got to us.

we can forgive the slow service though, that can happen. What we couldnt forgive though was the attitude of the waiter. We registered a minor complaint, as we found a piece of plastic/bone (roughly 4cm in length) in one of the squid rings. We werent trying to cause any trouble, we just wanted to make the waiter aware. We were even trying to order more food and drinks but he wouldnt let us finish our sentences. Instead he kept talking over us, dragged the very busy chef over to us for her to explain that it was a bone in the squid. We understood this point, but it didnt matter whether it was plastic or bone - whatever it was was very hard and not a nice thing to unexpectedly have in your mouth.

Our frustration continued to grow as the waiter refused to listen for more than 2 seconds and then when we finally had enough and decided to leave he tried to charge us for food we never even received, before going on to say "im sorry, I tried to be reasonable but you obviously arent reasonable"´.

Once again, we were trying to order more food! We were trying to be reasonable and would have gladly stayed longer. The food that we did receive was (despite being cold) lovely!

As we left the table next to us expressed their own frustrations and agreed with us that the waiter was incredibly insulting.

I really hope this was a one-off event, as the experience would have otherwise been lovely. The atmosphere was otherwise excellent and we would have loved to...

We booked in advance for saturday night. Fairly busy when we arrived and got busier as we got our drinks. We got the olive mix as a starter, then we got our warm tapas in three rounds and had dessert. We recommend the fried calamari and gambas al ajillo (make sure to order some bread with them as the garlic and chilli infused oil is heavenly), the cheesecake is also a must (very surprising to have parmigiano on top as garnish!). Our last tapas were fried calamari and pimientos - we waited a bit for the pimientos to arrive with the calamari, and by the time they did we were stuffed and could not eat anymore (still had space for dessert, of course). Service is very kind and welcoming. As it was quite busy, we didn’t mind a bit of a wait between the dishes. At approx 50€ per person we were full and happy with everything :) Seeing sanitary products in the women’s toilet was also a big plus! We’ll definitely be back and recommend the place to...

The dining experience can be easily summed up with one word: sensationell!! We had two seats in front of the show kitchen and it was a great place to enjoy and see all the different tapas they are offering. The kitchen was very calm and it was a great enjoyment. Food was atomicccalllyyy delicious 😋- my favorite are the Gambas, but ever single dish was high level excellent food. Basic Spanish feel-good food with great quality and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Staff was also very welcoming and we enjoyed our evening a lot. Absolute recommendation!!!
