Hayaci Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Vienna

Ladies and gentlemen, gather 'round for my "Special" Bento box tale! I dropped 16,50€ on this culinary fiasco, and boy, was it special – like "I-can't-believe-I-ate-that" special!

The raw fish? One star! It was the kind of edible that makes you question your life choices. But the delivery? Three stars! It arrived in just 20 minutes – I guess even the delivery guy knew this disaster needed an exit strategy. It was edible, sure, but only if you're really hungry and have nothing else in your fridge after returning from the biggest loser.

The Miso soup was so salty, we played tofu-mining in our very own Dead Sea. And the grilled salmon? It had all the flavor of a tax seminar without the sauce. I ate half, just to show some respect to the fish that gave its life for this... uh, "meal."

You know, my reviews hinge on price and location. But for 16,50€, I expected a meal that didn't taste like it was whipped up by a chef who'd make Jeff Bezos look broke if he sold failure. So,...

In my entire life, I never met a girl as rude as the person who were taking my order in this restaurant. She got annoyed by me and the fact that I am tourist very fastly, rising eyes to show me I wasn’t welcome. She didn’t understand what I was ordering, and she started talking very badly to me. She yelled at me to go search for my bottle of coke. I was enough nice to accept to change my order to be able to pay by card, and the fact is that my card didn’t get recognized (while it’s an international card) made her almost happy so she could throw me out of the restaurant. (Also, she didn’t try again for my card) At first I thought she only didn’t speak well English, but in the five minutes I was in there, being humiliated in front of the entire restaurant, was the worst part of my trip so far.

To sum up: don’t go there if you don’t want to be humialited. There are many nice people holding asiatic restaurant in the street, and I found one in 2 minute, cheaper, nicer, and...
