Wonderful place, and surprisingly reasonable prices for such great hotel. We had just quick drink and their famous authentic chocolate cake which got 100% approval of high quality ingredients used by my mum who is professional pastry chef. Lovely atmosphere sitting next to window. And surprisingly so we paid less for better quality water (Voslauer sparkling tastes so good) and austrian wine, then in stephenplatz basic kiosks😁Unbelievable, totally worth visit, next time I wanna stay in this hotel Regina and have proper dinner. Though waiters were all a bit grumpy😅 no smiles or much attention really, as if they fed up with guests😅 except for one waiter named Bale. He was friendly, attentive&recommended great wine. We enjoyed our time...

Had a great dinner here! Tried the Viennese head of veal and it was delicious. The flavors were there, although the mashed potatoes could be been a little bit creamier imo. After that, I ended my meal with an Emperor Franz Joseph cake which was very delicious! It's quite heavy with all the layers so be prepared. It's definitely better than the Sachertorte. The service was excellent! Best service I've had in Vienna. The staff was very attentive and professional. Also, the prices were very cheap! Max €17,50 or so for a main course and they even had a 2 course menu for €16,50. Not sure how they do it considering the restaurant is part of a hotel and it's Vienna. My final bill was around €22 for a main, cake and a tea. Definitely...

We stopped by Restaurant Roth and ordered the Wiener Schnitzel (veal) with potato and lamb’s lettuce salad. The portion size was certainly generous and the presentation was tidy, with a fresh slice of lemon and a crisp-looking salad on the side.

Unfortunately, while the schnitzel was cooked to a nice golden crisp, the flavour was lacking. The meat itself was tender enough, but the overall taste was quite bland, even with a squeeze of lemon. The salad was fresh but didn’t add much to lift the dish.

For the price, we expected a bit more seasoning and flavour to make the schnitzel truly stand out. It was not bad, but it was also not especially memorable compared to other schnitzels we have...
