I went there on a Friday afternoon, around 5pm, so I was one of the only customers there. The food was excellent: gyosas were really tasty (small but also cheap, if you want a lot you should order two portions), the beautiful girl sushi was amazing, and the crispy duck noodles were tasty and filling (generous portion of duck!).
The service was also excellent. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I have read in other reviews that the customers were dissatisfied with the service and I can only imagine that this was the result of a rush hour and/or a rude customer.
The restaurant is quite humble and you wouldn't think much of it while passing by. Aesthetically inside it's also nothing special. However, I specifically enjoyed the fact that the restaurant is a true family business and there were kids inside, playing and laughing. A really warm and original atmosphere that I particularly appreciated. I will definitely go there again next time...
Read moreCame here with my girlfriend at first during lunch, and a second time with my girlfriend and two other friends during dinner. The waiters are very nice and friendly, and even though their English is not perfect they do their best with communication, which I really appreciate. They also always made sure we were liking what we ate. Everything has been great. The food portions are huge and prices are more than affordable, especially considering how big the plates are. The taste of the food is really good as well, so it’s definitely worth a try! The restaurant itself is spacious and well kept.
I would definitely recommend this place and would love to eat here again if I ever visit...
Read moreI ordered a takeout for dinner, and I saw the good reviews here. I ordered a miso soup, Tom yum soup, salmon sushi and a duck ramen. The miso soup was good, but the Tom Yum soup was bland - not enough flavor, and not spicy at all - however, they did put a few shrimps in the soup. Then to the sushi, which was disappointing. The rice was harder than expected under the slice of raw salmon. The duck ramen -- why would you put the noodles and the soup together? It made the noodle so soggy, that the texture was not great. Noodles and soup should be in separate containers. I threw more than half of the ramen away, unfortunately. The duck was decent, but I'll probably not order...
