Went to Ramasuri Sunday at 11am for brunch. I asked for a flat white in a take-away cup and instead I got a lecture that this was not environmentally friendly and I should drink it from the glass. And I explained I like drinking coffee from a paper cup, and instead I got another lecture that it was not environmentally friendly and if I don’t want it in a glass, Ramasuri can give me the flat white in a regular cup. And for a third time I asked for coffee in a paper cup. And then the waitress gave me an explanation that take-away cups are only for people who order take-away coffee... So by the fourth time I had to cut her off and said ‘just give me the coffee in a take-away cup’…. ??!!... And all this from a waitress that was wearing non-environmentally friendly synthetic and leather trainers, and a leather pouch. Please spare me the lectures and just serve coffee…. So after this initial experience, I didn’t feel like staying but we ordered the food and it was just OK. The poached egg was overcooked and cold by the time it came out. And although our table wanted to order more coffees at the end of our meal, after the initial experience we were put off and went somewhere else… Öfferl - where they have no problem serving coffee in paper /...

However, my experience with the restaurant was made worse by the table next to mine, where a woman was clucking away like a chicken (literally) with her non-stop laughter. Not the fault of the restaurant. The other tables were not talking/laughing as loud.
