Jin's Ramen Hietzing — Restaurant in Vienna

I ate there twice, took food out and often order delivery - there was a stretch with only take out. But you can order via wolt now, although they are wholefully mismanaged - stay away from these bloodsucker apps and try to order directly.

The food is generally delicious but in recent times more often than not it's just bland (even when telling them to make it spicy). Ingredients quality apparently very good though. I am missing more options going along with the typical offerings from asia at similar places - the menu is limited but not that bad.

Additionally, there's one big caveat for me: I order there regularly, including 2 portions of their cucumber salad for a whopping 6,5€ each. Sometimes, I plead for bigger portions since I really love the dressing (could be replicated, though). But I never noticed much change in portion size. Last time I got some take-out, my wish for cheap cucumbers and a bit of marinade was outright declined and just can't fathom why. This place was walking distance from Schonbrun Palace. If you come here, stick to dumplings and buns. I repeat, only get the dumplings! They are known for their homemade dumplings and it’s a decent size. It’s offered in 4 or 10 piece.

We got 4 chicken and 4 pork. So good! The wrapper was not so thick or thin. It was perfect and the dipping sauce was amazing.

I wish I could get more dumplings but my mom was fixated on getting a rice bowl. The mince pork bowl was a disappointment. The rice was drowned in ground pork like a broth. It became mushy and super salty.

5/5 for the dumplings, 0/5 for the minced pork bowl.

The food looks amazing. The taste is great. What I would recommend. Please make sure the meat in the soup does not have fat. Not all of us enjoy a the fat of a chicken in the soup. Or let the customer know when he orders. 2. If you like dogs...I like dogs too. If a dog barks non stop it can influence the atmosphere and in the end everyone pays the same price but the ears hurt from a continuous dog bark mode. In such cases you should already take the lead and ask the clients with the barking dog to find a solution. The dumplings and all other tried dishes were great.
