Really lovely place close to our Hotel. The menu changes monthly and we arrived on 4th March so the menu hadn’t yet been translated into English but the staff took plenty of time to sit with us and translate….and give their recommendations. The blood sausage sounded so good and from a master butcher who has won awards. On their recommendation I went for it. Normally I would steer clear of something like this. It was amazing ! Sometimes you have no idea of what to expect and then … Boom kawoom you get hit with one flavor compilation by the next! I‘m not exaggerating! The dishes presented to us were spectacular, each one for it self was WaWaWoom. The balance between citrus, sweet, meaty, fresh, herby, fishy, … in each dish was exciting and pleasurable in one. brilliant place for food and drinks on a nice quiet square with a big tree. We had twice the Tages Tisch ( set lunch menu) which is inexpensive and very very nice. Service is immaculate, bottle of tapwater served when seated, plse note that the tap water in Vienna is coming from a deep source in the mountains and is very good. Good local beers and wine.
