Weinschenke am Karmelitermarkt — Restaurant in Vienna

First off , the burgers are pretty good. The price is justified. The atmosphere is also pretty good too, at the Kamelitermarkt, that's what streetfood should be. But that's it for the positive things to say. We ordered several times. E.g . when we sat there, via foodora and once we ordered and took the food home. Every time the waiting time was pretty long, even for the foodora order. The waitresses could be a bit friendlier and more competent. Last time we overheard a conversation from other guests with the waitress, where they obviously were not asked what they wanted to order and asked her. She just replied with a harsh yes. And one of our burgers was wrongly served what we realized when we where at home. All in all good burgers, but better delivered at home and even then there could...

In my opinion these wonderful people are making the absolute best burgers in town. They even turn a simple side dish, their stupidly good potato chips, into something special. And don't get me started on the plethora of homemade dipping sauces they offer. My personal recommendation would be "Der wilde Kerl" plus chips paired with lime aioli dip and thai curry peanut dip and an Austrian Amber Ale or two.

Working about 30 meters away from this place lead to me spending lunch here at least two or three times a week. I could even literally eat there every single day. This place is otherworldly good.

The same generally applies to all of the other locations they have in Vienna but this one is still a cut...

Waited for our food for an hour, and when we asked where it is, they forgot about our order. It was a very frustrating hour to sit around not do anything expecting food to be delivered, but the waiters were professional and nice and gave us free drinks. The chef acted extremely unprofessionally and went on a complaining rampage to the WAITERS for some reason even though he mucked up everything, and it wasn't exactly the most enjoyable restaurant experience I've had.
