Bayern sandwich is top, would go back for it, if it wasn't for the reasons I will not go back. Falafel plate for 8.2e with 2 pieces of falafel and no pita to be seen... don't call it Falafel if you give 2 pieces of falafel only...call it a fresh salad plate with hummus which is what it is.

The Mima Frühstück at 9.9e is the worst excuse for a breakfast I have seen in Vienna (and I live here!). Some vegetables without any dressing, a very very small piece of cream cheese (missing the sesame seeds the menu advertises), a yogurt which fills 1/4 of the bowl it is in, about 1/6 of an avocado) and some spring onion. And this dish was (according to the menu) supposed to come with baguette from Felzl bakery next door (which we super adore!) which never arrived. When questioned, staff said the baguette is out of stock...as guests we felt like we either forgot to read the waitress' minds or the inventory sheet in the kitchen before ordering.

Ambience is good, but once we left, the feeling was like having visited the tax...

Woke up on a Sunday morning in Vienna and was a bit surprised that the grocery stores were closed. Looked up a place for breakfast and this was down the street from our airbnb. We made the right call coming here. Very good food. Fresh, good flavour combinations. The waitress was friendly enough to let us replace the beans with a fried egg. My only complaint is that the door does not close by itself and it was super sought after. We got the second last table and people kept coming in and out and leaving the door wide open. And with below zero temperatures outside the breeze was a bit annoying. But be warned, it is CASH ONLY as many places in Vienna. A bit shocking as it's a developed city and I'm coming from a small town in Portugal where card payment is accepted basically everywhere. Waiter was hoping for a tip but due to cash only was not able to add more...

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IT IS CASH ONLY. I didn't know it, and didn't have cash with me and the card to withdraw from ATM. So, I offered to send the money by transfer. But the limit was 75 Euro. So, they neded to give me money back. İt was like a nightmare to wait them to accept this solution even though they didn't offer any solution. The lady was very angry at me and pointed out that it was my mistake not knowing that. I had a bus to catch so i just said please let's solve it in a way.
