Mr. Noodle — Restaurant in Vienna

Went here cos I was craving xiao long bao. It was a complete disappointment. I don't know what was served but that definitely wasn't xiao long bao. It had no soup inside and the wrapper was so thick. It was like a mini siopao/bapao. It was fine, if you weren't hoping to get xiao long bao.

We did get some crispy ente tho because we saw it on the menu.. my husband and I are such fans of it. And to be honest, the restaurant did smell so good as soon as we entered so we wanted to try out their duck as well. It was definitely good and crispy. The noodles that they served with it was also good. I liked the type of noodles, they were springy and chewy....

Only a few tables to dine in as 99% of the business is conducted as take away. Crispy chicken with noodles was great, but be warned that if ordered with rice it will be plain rice. Beer at 2€ big can, or 2,5€ if you go local with a Tsing Tao. It is an "only cash" place so bear that in mind. They had a brand of hot Thai chilli sauce that we knew and loved. No bill received but the 25,50€ matched the 3 beers, 1 veg noodles, 1 rice w chicken and egg, 1 Crispy chicken w rice, 1 crispy chicken with noodles, all large sice. Some rice and chicken was taken away in box and bag kindly...

Authentic Chinese and Asian food. Clearly if ranked in comparison restaurants in China would be a 5 out of 10 but this translates into a 9 out of 10 in Austria, specifically because the majority of Chinese restaurants in the west are just mediocre and would quickly go out of business if in Asia. Staff friendly and helpful....
