I would give zero stars if there would be an option for that.
The management is unwilling and unable to work on the bad conditions of the gym! Rooms, showers, steam bath and saunas are disgustingly dirty. Cleaning for them is putting up just another automatic deodorant spray to conceal the smell of dirt and sweat. Don't get me wrong the cleaning staff is nice and helpful and tries to do there job as good as possible also the trainers are friendly (but charge extra) however it's the middle/upper management that fails to their basic jobs of improving, modernizing and correctly maintaining their facilities.
I've been a customer for a couple of years there and realize the demise of the studio continously. Intelligent personnel that criticizes condition and wants to improve things gets changed or fired. After complaining of pool/sauna area conditions, management reacted with closing the areas now hours earlier then the regular opening hours, to get rid of the evening regulars which kept complaining. If you speak to staff, you see how bad they get treated and are happy to find a better job.
Cardio gym equipment like treadmills and steppers are old, in bad conditions and breaking down every second day. If that happens management needs weeks to fix even basic things like doors or hand dryers (for proof see picture).
The only reason why this gym is still working is because of its good location in the central city.
No matter what "special" contract you have or will get there. What you pay is far more than the "service" you will receive.

The club spans several floors in a beautiful historic building, thoughtfully modernized with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment and a fantastic wellness area. This past spring, the entire facility was renovated and now it looks even more stylish and inviting.
There’s a great variety of high-quality equipment, and even during peak hours in the evenings or on weekends, I’ve never had trouble finding a free machine. Maintenance is excellent, any issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
The gym also offers a wide selection of group classes, all led by passionate and professional instructors. It attracts people of all ages, and the overall atmosphere is calm and respectful. Pricing is fair and reflects the high standard of the services and facilities.
Locker rooms and restrooms are spotless and regularly maintained. The environment is welcoming and friendly, with reception staff always greeting you with a smile and the entire team ready to help when needed.
I also train regularly with my personal trainer, Stella, and I can't recommend her highly enough. She is always well-prepared, encouraging, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her positive energy and professional attitude make every session both enjoyable and effective. She knows how to push me just the right amount to keep me progressing toward my goals. I really look forward to every workout with her.

Read moreVery disappointing experience. The spa area and the changing rooms are not kept clean. It’s a very uncomfortable smell in the showers quite often and I then find it very hard to understand what I am paying this money for.
Even the fabric of the furniture is torn as well as the towels, which does not give any sort of feeling that this is a place of exclusivity and prestige. Rather it feels like money is being saved wherever possible, which is very clear when looking at the condition of the fitness club and the lack of staff around.
The equipment areas are basically always crowded. I do not think that the yoga mats or equipment are ever on any monthly cleaning schedule. There is never any staff available on the different floors. Seems very much like the Fitinn-branches in the inter city, so it’s very unclear why Holmes Place costs that much more.
Inappropriate behavior like screaming or insulting by “long-time-members” is accepted openly by staff because they say that these individuals have been part of the club for years & it is not possible to now not reward this loyalty.
